I only had to do it one day, today.

I am lucky enough to be able to take 8-12 weeks. Right now I am taking 8 maybe 9 weeks. I want to get a good start and take time to get my head around it.

Not sure about everyone but when ever I eat a carb with a meal it makes me hungry. So I would suggest skip that potato and have like an allowed non starchy veggie instead.

I too have completed all testing and requirements. Surgery day July 7th ! Excited and scared at the same time!

I think you will get approved. But you will have to choose a surgeon and they go through all the hoops of getting you approved. You just relax and concentrate on you. Let them do that work. ?

Oh I am pretty sure you will qualify. I did with no problem. 40 or higher gets approved and 35 with things like high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis can get you approved too.

Yes thats true. You can go to any one you can find. I have several around me so I am sure I can at least go each month or even more. I have one on July 15, which is 8 days post surgery which I am hoping to attend! Hang in there it will be worth it.

I for one have felt a lot better after attending ny support groups pre op. I havr my date of July 7th. i would be lying if I said I wasnt scared. But I am more excited about losing the weight. I dount want to go into retirement with diabetes and high blood pressure. I dont think it will be easy but it will be worth it!
