  6. So I'm two weeks post op today and I went to my NUT today. I am watching everyone post how much they have lost after having their procedure on the same day as me and I have only lost a few pounds. She thinks I may be retaining fluids, but it's very discouraging. The past two weeks have been so difficult for me emotionally and physically. I am not feeling any energy to do much. After I do a little bit I need to lay back down. I am getting around 40-60g of protein in, but definitely not nearly enough fluids. Anyone have the surgery and be two weeks out and really haven't lost anything?
  7. I am having the same problem! I am 12 days post op and I have moved on to some mushy foods which hasn't been so bad;however I am still having problems with my protein shake. My drs and NUT want me to have my protein shake for breakfast, but it literally takes me about 3 hrs to finish and I know you're not supposed to drink with your meals, but my shake ends up being my breakfast and lunch and then here it is 2:15 and I haven't finished my shake or gotten any other fluids. This shake makes me nauseous and I have tried a variety. I have never had any problems with shakes prior to surgery.

  10. One dr told me 2 weeks and the other told me a month. I am just going by the one month to play it safe.
  11. Does anyone have any good links to help explain to my family what I have gone through and how to summarize the post op etc?
  12. So I am 5 days post op and had to take my son to a drs appointment. How do people deal with trying to just digest fluids, because as soon as we are out and I take a sip of anything I need to use the bathroom and not for urine Is this something that gets better? I am afraid to leave the house and I am also exhausted and did minimal today.
  13. I am not even a week post op and I'm so nervous bec I have a trip to a friend's planned for end of July and a family vacation to Costa Rica in August that I'm so worried I'm going to be miserable for
