  3. Of course. Once you get to maintenance, you can eat fresh fruit and vegetables. They are an important part of my diet and I am at goal and have been for a few months.
  4. I started at 278 and a 42 waist. I am now 185 and a 33 waist. I was sleeved in July 2017.
  5. Zero regrets. It has been the most amazing thing I have ever done. I love being a normal weight. I never thought that would be possible. Going from a 42 waist to a 33 waist and from XXL to L has been truly incredible. I have honestly never felt better.
  6. I am 6 feet tall. I was sleeved on July 14, 2017. I weighed 280 on the day I was sleeved. I am currently at 183. I have been at this weight for a few weeks. My goal weight was 185, so I am very happy with the weight loss. I eat around 1000-1200 calories per day. I have never felt better. I work out 6 days per week, 2 of those with a trainer. I really can't believe what has happened. I went from a 42 waist to a 33 waist pants and XXL shirts to L shirts. I am very grateful for this sleeve.

  8. It is interesting how the weight loss has gone. I was sleeved on July 14 and I weighed 279. At one month, I had lost 32 pounds down to 247. Currently I am at 221. I did have a stall at about 3 weeks, but once the weight started coming off again it has been great. I am at around 800 or less calories a day focusing on protein. I did notice that in the last week, it seems my restriction is more than it had been previously. Still have not felt any hunger so that is good. I am really thrilled with this. I would like to get down to around 185-190 so I feel great about the progress. I was at a size 42 waist and now I am at 36.

  12. I lost almost 40 pounds in the first month. I am at 5 weeks and down 40 since surgery and 48 since start of my pre-op diet.
  13. I am at 5 weeks post sleeve today. I started at 280 lbs and surgery date I was at 272. Today I was at 232. I can't believe it. I feel amazing and I'm out of XXL and wearing XL. I have started eating more normal foods and so far I have been able to tolerate everything with no problems. Honestly I have not feel this good for a long long time. Couldn't be happier. I am sure that the weight loss will slow some, but thats fine.
  14. I was sleeved July 14. Feeling great. I'm able to eat pureed foods and drink most anything protein shakes, yogurt. I am getting around 60-80 grams or protein a day and around 500-700 calories. I started at 279 when I started two week prop diet and my weight was 273 on my surgery date and this morning my weight was 247. Crazy to lose 32 pounds in a few weeks.
  15. How easy its been. I was sleeved on July 14 and have not had any real pain. Only issue has been with some vitamins made me a bit nauseous, but once I tried the gummy's no issue. I can drink normally and eat with no problems. I am down 21 pounds since surgery day.
  16. I have two weeks on clear liquids. Is that normal? My surgery is on Friday 7/14
  17. I have Cigna and I had to pay co insurance of $750 but that was it. That was when I had the endoscopy. They told me I would have nothing further out of pocket. Also, after my 3 months of doctor visits and nutritionist visits, plus all of the other appointments and clearances, I was approved in a few days. My surgery is on July 14th.
  18. My doctor only has me on the liquid diet for 2 days. The 12 days before that its a low carb diet. Basically chicken and fish, protein shakes plus liquids.
