  16. Your band will not increase restriction following weight gain. However it is not good having avid reflux at night. I suggest that you should have a substantial aspiration to rest the band as you could possibly have a dilated pouch. Sent from my SM-G930F using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I am a independent Bariatric Nurse who is based in Wales. I'm a qualified nurse with extensive experience in dealing with weight loss patients. If you shoukd need an adjustment please email and I will get back to me. I am very competitive with my costs and very flexible availbility to suit your needs.
  18. I would suggest that next time you have an adjustment you need to ask the practitioner to do a fluid check to determine a leak. However you can lose some saline via natural osmosis.
  19. Just after surgery your band is going to be tighter due to inflammation of the muscle tissues. Too many people focus on the amount of fluid in the band and to be honest the more weight you lose with less fluid the harder you have worked and the less likely of developing a dilated pouch. Prior to having first fill it is recommended yo have a low fat protein diet and to eat a range of textured foods from 4 weeks post op
  20. It depends on the where you are flying. Usually you are generally ok up to about 6 mls, however some are more sensitive than others.
  21. Yes I agree that your band is too restrictive as unable to tolerated any fluids. It is not medically safe to persevere as you will become dehydrated and umwell.
