  17. Oh I am sorry you are having problems with pain. Are you taking your pain meds routinely? If not, this will stabilize it so you don't have to play catch up to get it down.   19. I had my Pre-op class today, start 2 wk liquid diet on 8/29, then surgery 9/12! I am really excited, not as nervous, but worried I will get too grouchy with my Pre-op liquid diet lol!   25. Trust me, being the RN that I am, follow your surgeons advice. You really don't want to get pneumonia by reflux/vomiting that enters the lungs. It does not take much and have seen many people require longer hospitalizations because this happened and some even die. So be smart and trust your medical team, they did not get their licenses in a cracker jack box, they worked hard to heal others and have a lot of responsibility for every patient they take care of.
