Hi there , I am Kathy and Im from Chandler Arizona .. Getting the band the 26th of May.. :thumbup:

This is wonderful and we are all supporting each other .. Yes Yes I want to know everything .. I will be thinking of each and everyone of you .. OH MAN I have loved reading these posts.. Just awesome ..I was laughing so hard .. My psch test was like 30 minutes long had a 20 page test and never heard if I am a certified loco or not.. OH and then said that will be 400.00 please.. but getting my band the end of the month and I paid it so I guess I am certifiably NUTS... Say a big prayer for me I am so excited and scared to death too .. You all are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting my band on the 26th of May..This is great advise and so glad to hear ... Oh and I heard GasX strips are great to have also .

I also just got apprved from Tricare and so excited. One question..Does Tricare cover the fills?

Way to go .It sounds like you are doing wonderful ..I just got approved today and have my pre op appointment next week .. so I really can't answer about you not being full ..It doesn't sound right though with a fill you should feel some restriction .. Have to talked to your Dr about it .? Hope this gets fixed for you as it sounds like you are totally on the right path .. Keep us posted .. Anxious in Arizona

I too just got apprived my Tri West.. Took only two days. This forum has been so hlepful . I didn't know till reading this how to check on my referral.. So I am almost a member now of the Bandits and have my pre-op appt. Wednesday... Please tell me you would do this again ... Anxious in Arizona

This is just wonderful ..So informative. I didn't know about the shot in the tummy .Thank-you for saying you didn't feel it.. I am waiting for approval from the insurance and hope to get this going very soon. Hope you feel even better than yesterday .

I have to say I totally believe things happen for a reason ..Just maybe though you will be fine and dandy by Wednesday ... Not to stress take it one day at a time.

I hear the best thing for your problem is Benefiber ..It has no taste and can be dissolved in water .. Also Gas X strips are the best .. You take care and I am thrilled for you . I am waiting for my insurance to approve me and I hope to be on my way too to a new life .. AZChick

OK put me on the wagon too.. WE will all sit and wait together. Have all my pretesting in and now waiting for the surgeons office to submit the info .. Like eveyone so nervous and scared at the same time .. We can do this as miltary wives this is nothing compared to what we have been through .. All my prayers are with you all .. AZSUN, I will be totally pulling for you .. If you have a minute I would love to know what happend with WLIZ. I am getting so frustrated with the insurance people there. I found them very rude. So I am having second thoughts .. That is what is wonderful about this site we totally hear the good and the bad .. AZChick

Hi Melanie I am also with WLIA and have Dr DeBarros .. I have finished my pretesting now and waiting for the next step.. How are you liking your new band ?? Also can anyone tell me how to put those cute graph bars on the bottom .. AZSun take it one day at a time GF and think about how much better you are going to feel .. AZChick

Oh this is the best info I have had in awhile. I too am Tri Care in Arizona .Have had all my testing and waiting to see who does what now.. I guess I too will start pounding on some desks soon if I don't hear anything .. I am giving it a couple of weeks for all my results to come in. don't know if I get intouch with my PC Dr of my WL clinic. so good to hear Tri-care gets back to us pretty fast .. Mama have a safe PCsing and keep in touch. Again this site is wonderful . AZ Chick sitting and waiting

What a wonderful site. I think our Lord led me right here this morning. On my way hopefully soon to get my band. All my testing is done just waiting for the inusrance to say go or no go ..That is in the Lords hands now .. This is a tool and a wonderful one.. All things are possible..... Your words have been so helpful..

Kat I absolutley love your message ..It totally has inspired me . I am waiting for my surgery date .Was being a little worried about infection etc. The weight though will do me way more harm than good .I needed to hear this and thank-you . AZChick

We will do this and before we know it we will have the band behind us .. I love reading about everyones experiences ..This site is awesome . Still new at it so I don't know how to add all the charts etc on the bottom.. We will be pros you wait and see ... AZ
