NO fair my Dr said 8 weeks... Was banded on the 19th

So psyched and can't believe it is tomorrow.. I am so ready .Bag packed and ready to rock and roll.. God Speed to everyone and check in as soon as you feel like it .. Love you all ..

From one Grandma to another.. I will be holding your hand as I will be having the surgery also tomorrow .. Will be so glad to have this over and behind us.. You take care and God speed .We are on a new journey .. Keep me posted .

I am having the surgery the same day you are ... We are going to feel better,look better,our heart is going to be so happy and our stomach is not going to know how to act and can rest once in awhile.. e are so blessed to be able to have this tool to help us with the rest of our lives .. God speed on Monday and I will be crusing with you in Arizona.. This is GOOD and we deserve it ..

I am so thrilled to hear how our May girls are .. This is so so encouraging. Monday is my big B-Day and I can't wait as the 2 week pre -op is getting really old now.. Worth it though .. I am so happy everyone is feeling better ... Boy does Soup sound good ..

I so hope you feel better really really soon ..They have prescribed Patches for me to wear after surgery to help with the nausea .. You rest and keep sipping if you can .. Call the DR and maybe he can prescribe you something .. Each day will get better ..Take it slow...

I am so happy for you .. I too am Tri Care and having my band done May 19th.. I am so happy for you and keep checking in with your Dr. The time will go by fast now that you know you have been approved .They will give you a window that will tell you when the surgery should be done .. Mine had a three month span I think. Congrats .

Congratulations. You made it .. I will bet my bippy the dates are for the surgery... That waiting is awful...

I also am having my band done on May 19th at the WLIA with Dr. DeBarros ..He is wonderful and answers every question without ever making you feel rushed ..

OH if that doesn't pull on youer heart strings I don't knwo what will ... They are so wonderful and you could just eat them up (no pun intended) Before you know if that husband of yours will be home and all will be normal again . I am a military wife and know the hardship ..Hang in there and go one day at a time ...

OH I hope this goes away so fast for you ..I have read several places that Gas X strips is a must .. Keep us posted and I so hope you feel better .

You just put the biggest smile on my face.. I am on liquids right now and your meals sounds marvelous .. Being creative is the way to go .. Don't over do and rest at your convention and take care .

I just got approved from Tri-Care and if you meet the qualifications and do the pre testing it goes very fast. I was approved in two days and I have read a lot of other posts saying the same thing ... Total time from first visit to my PC Dr to surgeon and now the surgery is 4 months. It goes fast . Waiting for the approval was the hardest .. Good luck to you and keep us posted .. I go next week and can't wait ..

This is a tool that we get to choose.. I am thrilled that we are blessed in a time we can get it.. I agree I am scared too.. That is so natural to wonder and worry ,this is huge.. but you know what it is the best new start we all get to share and do ... So excited in Arizona and can't wait for Monday ... I am right behind you .. I will circle the 15th on my calendar and know I will be thinking of you ..

I was going to add too Benefiber is awesome.. Tasteless and will dissolve in anything.. Start with a teaspoon full first.. You are going to feel so much better ...

I agree and my vote is for the band.. It can be adjusted and REVERSED.. plus you have so so many more options with it ... Keep us posted on what you decide.
