  1. Anyone hear of any stories where someones procedure was denied? I am worried because on 7/21 I got on the standing dr scale at 252. SInce then I have been sacrificing and exercising consistently. Today the scale reads 5 pounds more.THIS CAN NOT BE! I heard that some ins companies will deny you if you gain weight during the prep process. I am so discouraged now! Any tips on fast change eating habits? I need to drop about 10 pounds in less than a month
  2. Wow! Yes he woke me up about 230am and hooked me up to the machine/mask. After, I slept like a baby & no episodes. Its amazing. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Very helpful info. Apparently I had 40-50 episodes of stopped breathing during my sleep study, so the sleep dr suggested I go for the machine. I'm definitely taking mine on surgery day.
  4. Nooo The CPAP machine is used to aid in a breathing disorder during sleep called Apnea.
  5. im not complianing either....whatever qualifies me for surgery, Im ok with it.

  7. Medical supply just called me. They are sending someone to me to show me how to work the machine, settings, etc. They are coming to my office LOLOL! I cant take off anymore right now. I am doing the 'rent to own" as well. First payment of $52 then $8 a month til its paid off. My $300 deductible has been met. How sweet was that process!

  16. Thanks everyone! Moms is worried about the apnea and anesthesia. I start CPAP in a few weeks before surgery late Sept/early Oct. Just needed a little "reassurance"

  18. Yes, I think I will be ok as I dont have any issues, pretty healthy guy here. I will keep an eye out for regret videos and share.
  19. OMG I am sooooo anxious. I find myself researching everyday and sometimes lay in bed thinking about it. Lately Ive been wondering about the fatalities and researching that, but I think I will be ok - just that small thought that creeps in your mind, ya know? I am about to watch testimonials from guys who have had it done. What are the common comments about the regrets, why do they regret it?
  20. Wow its my 40th that month too 9/14. In mexico 9/14 - 9/18, come back & prep for surg. Dr C Steeve David in Virginia will be doing my procedure

  23. Im not sure I will have that problem....I just have one slightly beer/pot belly..so hopefully no overlapping. I hope with the documentation, the ins company will cover it down the line. Much success, hope to stay connected and update on each others progress.
  24. Guys, I am concerned about loose skin. Anyone had a slight issue with it and it ended up not so bad? Others, what are some things/exercises to help?
  25. As long as you lost some of the weight you should be ok.
