  4. It’s a week tomorrow I had my sleeve and I’m the same weight today as I was the day of the op , I know we’re all different but I thought I’d have lost something. Ive resisted weighing myself until now because I don’t want to be obsessed with the scales just thought I’d weigh once a week , bit disappointed with no loss at all Has this happened to anyone else here ? Any tips or advice would be gratefully received. Hope everyone one is doing well xx

  8. I had vsg April 3rd Im home and doing well only slight discomfort from incisions , I didn’t gave gas pain so I guess I was lucky , I walked a lot though quite soon after surgery - I did have bad indigestion though and gaviscon cleared that ... not had it since I’m sipping water and protein as much as possible , I need to monitor how much though as I’m probably not hitting what I should yet , so I’ll start that today, loving hearing about everyone’s journeys here - wishing you all a speedy recovery and for those due to have their surgeries , hope it all goes well for you

  16. I’m actually here, can’t quite believe it after surgery was cancelled for 20th March. Then was supposed to come in last night but they told me not to as lack of beds. Then told to come in for 7am today , then told possibly no beds. But eventually they came to get me from waiting room and I’m sat by my bed and it’s all going ahead. Nerves , anxiety , relief to be here. I’m last on the list. So a little wait yet. But it’s happening Wishing everyone having surgery today all the best xxx
  17. I’m 3rd April too there are five of us now as far as I can remember ,,, ??????
  18. Ah nice one , I’m sure we’ll be a support for each other. I’ve not been asked to do liquid at all so just sticking to very low cal liver shrinking diet , I’ve been doing it almost five weeks now due to cancelled surgery , I’m hoping it doesn’t get cancelled again as my bmi was 40 but will be less now as I’ve definitely lost weight during this past five weeks , but the diet isn’t sustainable as it’s so low in calories and goodness and I’m quite hungry at times.
  19. That’s four of us on that day @MaddiesMommaand @alchaley How are we all doing so far on pre op ?
  20. Hi Ive had my sleeve surgery that was March 20th cancelled and moved to 3rd April so I’ve been on very low calorie low carb pre op diet almost five weeks now. Ive stuck to it 100% so I’ve lost weight as it’s so strict and am concerned they won’t do the surgery for me starting BMI was 40 but I won’t be that now Anyone know if this has ever happened?
  21. Aw bless you. At least you’re home and hopefully you’ll improve daily now. Yes definitely keep on track of the meds - - don’t let them wear off. I’ve read a lot about people not being able to keep up with the water intake Someone said to add protein to your water and it’s easier to drink. Check with your team first though of course. New day tomorrow, hope you get to a really good place in your journey soon
