  5. It all depends on your body structure. You may have thick muscle under the fat. Protein only strengthen the muscles. But you need. Your protein, so, you may have to double up on your cardio. I'm almost 4 weeks out, I lost 40lbs already with no exercise. But remember what I said first, it depends on your build and fat structure. Just stay on course, don't be discouraged, you will see the results you want. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  10. 86 grams of protein? I thought it was 68, I'm barely making 68 grams. I don't know what to do. Meats are hard to eat. I fill too quickly. Guess I gotta try harder now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. I had my surgery on the 28th of April. They told me to follow the stages. First week clear liquids, 2nd week solid liquids, 3rd week pureed foods, 4th week regular meals. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Wow I wasnt allowed to drink protein shakes until the solid liquid stage. Clear liquids only until stage 2. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I feel your pain. I'm three weeks out tomorrow and I wish I would have tried something else myself. The feeling of hunger is very minimum, but my cravings for real food have me counting down until I can eat some. My incision pain is no more, but I have a very painful bubble and I have to remember to drink all the time. Not to mention water taste horrible. I hope I didn't make you feel worse, but was sharing my regrets. But on the real, we will be a lot healthier if we stay on the right plan. I wish you luck and hope you achieve your goals. 16. I'm two weeks in on friday. I felt regret from the first day. I still feel regret, thinking that maybe I could of tried a different way to lose weight, but I know in my heart I had no choice. I had all the opportunity in the world. No I just hope I don't mess up my opportunity to get to where I need to be. I wish you luck, I'm in your boat. So you are definitely not alone. 18. I just started stage two post op eating two days ago. I am having some stomach discomfort. I don't know if it's a reaction two the food or gas pains. Anyone else have or had this issue? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Good for you. Things will get easier I hope. I have a long way ahead of me and hope I achieve my goals. I've lost 20 lbs so far. But I'm not counting, don't wanna excite myself and do wrong. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. No the encourage us to use a sugar substitute. Some are better than others like the stevia brand which is all natural, but my poison is equal. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. I watch the food network often. I want everything but don't have hunger for it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Lol, I keep saying the same thing. I never noticed how many food commercials are out there. And the new stuff that I would love to try. Even restaurants that I would never eat from got stuff that I want so bad. But at least I am not hungry. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. That's great, good luck. I'm knew week post op tomorrow. I am working on these stages which is a bigger battle. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. My surgeon didn't put me on a complete liquid diet. I was allowed 2 protein shakes and one lean cuisine meal everyday for two weeks and I was fine. But to be honest, I cheated a couple of times, but made it. On my surgery date, I found that I still lost 10 pounds. The shakes I used helped me with hunger because of high protein. And I ate my meal late so I wouldn't be awake too long afterwards. Just keep it up, you will make it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal mobile app
