  1. I got mine off of Amazon, but I am returning it because my nutritionist said that it isn't a good one for the DS.
  2. I am interested- can you tell me what the shipping might be?
  3. This is sooo awesome it made me smile! I was thinking what is a small car I never could fit in that I wanted too! How funny. Very cool!

    This is wonderful advice!
  5. I have my surgery on the 28th- I found out they "blocked" 6 hours for me. I have not yet confirmed anything further the hospital is supposed to call me to confirm everything.
  6. Just curious how you are doing? I had my pre op meeting yesterday and I was thinking I would not start the liquid diet until the 12th..... but no I start the 7th.....TOMORROW and my surgery is not until the 28th. I have moments were I am totally okay, and then moments were I freak out silently. I cried all the way home from work yesterday. Not sad cry just like a release cry. I told my husband I have no idea why I am so emotional. I am super scared I might snap at a co-worker or my family. This morning my husband asked me how I felt and I told him it is what it is. I was raised by a Marine and we just soldier through stuff. I am excited and nervous and I welcome this new adventure. But the unknown is very scary. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  7. Well that is super awesome you have someone to share the journey with! I hope you both are feeling well. Thank you for sharing
  8. I am starting to buy my supplements and I was curious if anyone bought their stuff exclusively through Bariatric Pal store and if they have tried GENEPRO Medical Grade Unflavored 30g Protein Powder - 2nd Generation. I am kinda overwhelmed as to what to purchase- also if any women can offer insight to the soft chews (as far as good flavor) I was going to buy the three pack- but then put it back and just stuck with berry. Any information is welcome! TIA!
  9. How many days prior to surgery do you begin the liquid diet? I don't have my pre op meeting until June 5th....tick tock.
  10. Thank you so much! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Congrats on your weight loss thus far! Thanks for sharing
  12. Hey y'all! I have my pre-op upcoming and I am really nervous, has anyone ever gotten to pre-op and been approved by insurance and your doctor and then told oh no we cannot do the surgery? Or maybe if there is a hiccup what can I expect? I guess the unknown is scaring me/consuming me. I am very excited but I feel like I am not prepared and I need to know what can I expect worst case. Any and all advice is welcome! TIA!
  13. I told my husband if we go out to eat I will only order off the kids meal- grilled chicken and a veggie. I totally get it about being uncomfortable about sharing that, especially being that the person you had lunch with had a smaller weight problem. (but each journey is different-I get it) Thank you for sharing that with me, I like to see all different approaches. You are correct I am beyond excited/nervous! <3
  14. Thank you, I love it! I am learning soo much!
  15. Thank you, and I couldn't agree more. I just don't want any expectations or extra questions. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Wish you the best with your en devours!
  16. Love this article, great share and wonderful perspective to think upon....thank you!
  17. I am sooo super stoked- I have only told a very select few that I have this up and coming. One of which was my boss, I was wondering if any of you have experienced questions from co workers or anything like that and how you approached it. I am not by any means hiding anything, I just want to wait until after the procedure is completed before I let the cat out of the bag so to speak. I am already super emotional, just because this has been a long process for me. (found a doctor I like a year ago and he was NOT COE approved-so I had to find another doctor) Any advice is welcome, I am just more or less trying to be positive and not let my worry overwhelm me. TIA
  18. I have seen two doctors about this- one did NOT require the reval and my current doctor- which I got approval from did. Yes approval time seemed much quicker. But this has been a very long process....or maybe tiresome is the better word.
  19. Will do , you keep me update too!! Stay strong and hydrated! [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
