  1. I too had the sleeve and a hernia repair. I had to get daily IV fluids for about 3 weeks. I'm better now at 6 weeks and can get in about 50 ounces of fluids a day. I had to start drinking warm decaf tea for a bit. I also found this sugar free caffeine free chai vanilla tea that I lived on for about a week...it was yummy so I was eager to drink. Now I carry a 32 ounce water bottle with me that always has lime and cucumber sclices in it...very refreshing. Let me know how things go for you in the next few days. If you aren't able to drink more, definitely call your doctor.
  2. Don't be so hard on yourself. You have lost a good amount of weight. Keep focusing on balancing out your nutrition and exercise and drink plenty of fluids. Do you weigh daily? I had to stop doing that because i was frustrated at the "stalls".?
  3. Chicken....and I thought it would kill me...lol. ???. I had to stay with deli chicken and turkey because it was very soft.
  4. My surgery group said I could work my crunches in now...I'm 6 weeks post op. I think you and I had the same surgery date.❤️Congratulations on your success...
  5. My new fav tv show is Carnival Eats! I look at online menus of restaurants in other countries as well...lol. I'm not hungry either...how funny, but I am obsessed with food?????
  6. I love reading this topic!!! I had my sleeve and hiatal hernia repair on 4/12. I have lost 31 pounds. Positive notes... I can cross my legs. My pants don't cut into my belly. No more Diabetes![emoji171] No more bladder medication![emoji16] I think I have a waist. I got to take time away from work. I feel happy.[emoji182]
  7. I think it was a novelty type fun drink that could have been made with half of the sugars... I think we all may have had more fun with listening to the "barista unicorn rant" that went viral, rather than waiting in a rediculously long line for the drink we grown ups would have felt guilty about as we gulped down this sparkley fruity fake coffee...lol ???
  8. I agree with you!!! I was a bit put off from the other persons entire side of the conversation. I mean, as if we all haven't had our share of people belittling and berating us for our choices before surgery??? By the way... I saw a pair of Peeps slippers while at CVS the other day...I tried to teleport them to you...?
  9. I'm proud of you and understand what you are going through. I am 12 days post op... Some days are good...and some days you have painful hiccups (literally). Stick to the people who support you and lift you up. Discard the ones that bring you down?
  10. Rhalyn, Glad to know it doesn't last....I'm so ready to feel better.
  11. Great idea...I was very dizzy and talking incoherently...that's when my husband took me to the hospital. I also had a hiatal hernia repair when I was sleeved...so that makes for a bit more swelling and pain? One day at a time...
  12. I forgot that I can try warm broth...I will try that this weekend...maybe hubby will pick up some Vietnamese Pho and leave the broth for me...yummy thanks.??
  13. I carry a water bottle with me...I can't seem to "push" any more down....thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
  14. I have a family member that is 10 years post op...she said she still doesn't ever really feel full...there's just a "rock" like sensation where her stomach is.
  15. Best of luck to you...I'm 1 week post op. Keep us posted.
  16. I'm one week post op and still very tired. I have had to go to the hospital daily to receive IV maintenance fluids because I have not been able to drink enough. Anyone else dehydrated? Any advice?
