  1. Funny I went back and looked at Protein list from surgeon and this is on it, going to buy one this weekend just to taste, will update with a [emoji106] or[emoji107] on taste. Also going to buy some Genepro unflavored protein, supposed to have equivalent of 30 grams per tablespoon and tastefree. We shall see
  2. Guess all preop diets are different, I can have some veggies in an unlimited quantity, cauliflower is one of them...

  5. Congrats Blev! Being 3 weeks out, can you give some of us who have surgeries coming up in July a couple of things you did to make the first couple of weeks go smoothly?

  8. Welcome to the forum, my surgery is scheduled for 7/11. I also have experienced the stigma that this is the easy way...i tell myself it most assuredly is not the easy way...it is HOWEVER the quickest way to lose the most weight, but easy??? Nope it's a lifetime commitment. Welcome! I also joined a Facebook group for July surgeries which I am looking forward to bonding with and sharing with these people, I will see if I can find the link and post it here. Ultimately it's your business and I commend you for taking this big step towards a healthier lifestyle!
  9. Deep breathing and positive visualization, try and focus on all the reasons why your doing this.
  10. 7/11 for me! Requested to join the July FB group
  11. You look fantastic, love to see success stories, trying to keep a positive mental state prior to surgery...the only difference between fear and faith is where we put our focus...I am choosing to focus on all the positive successes I see here....
  12. How are you doing TTT?
  13. My surgeon has all 3 stages, liquid, puree and soft. I had to google to find the difference between puree and soft, if i understand correctly puree (baby food consistency) can be swallowed without the mechanics of moving your mouth and soft meaning you should be able to use your tongue and mouth cavity to break the food down without having to physically chew? I know the original post was liquid and puree, but thought this might be helpful as well. Those with more experience please feel free to correct me if my observation is incorrect.
  14. Right there with you, just got my surgery date yesterday....7/11!
  15. All very helpful tips, my surgery date is set for 7/11!
  16. I have Cigna and approval took 5 business days from the day it was submitted.
