  1. Oh that's great to know. So I can look forward to bigger drinks?
  2. A long gulp of ice cold water. That's what I miss the most. Yes I can sip water, which tastes nothing to me like it did before the surgery, but it's not the same. Feel like I can't quite get my thirst quenched. Anyone else miss this?
  3. My nutritionist said the fluids are the biggest challenge the first few weeks. She recommended a sugar free drink with electrolytes. Grape Powerade has been my go to. Very cold over crushed ice.
  4. You look fantastic!
  5. That's a good way to put it. I agree. I was sleeved three days ago and experiencing the same thing. It takes forever to eat or drink everything. I feel like all I do is sip and nibble my three little portions each day and that's all I have time for. Lol
  6. Interesting. I was just sleeved three days ago and contemplating as well. I feel it should be private if you choose so. But people are so brassy they just won't give up sometimes.
  7. This makes me smile. I can't wait to me there. You've earned it. Enjoy.
  8. I had my sleeve Friday. It went very well. I was not prepared for the gas and nauseous, which was far worse that any if the surgery pain. Came home after two nights. Learning that I can't really lay down or it will make me feel nauseous. Other than that I feel great! Already down 11 pounds. Feeling optimistic and hope this positive momentum stays put.
  9. May 5th. Only 4 days [emoji4]
  10. Hi there. I'm 50 in Indiana. Surgery may 5th. Best wishes to you on this journey.
  11. My surgery date is finally nearing. Less that a week away. I'm so very nervous and excited at the same time. Location is Carmel, Indiana. Anyone else same time or location that might want to be buddies?
  12. That would be frustrating. I have bcbs and it took Less than two weeks
  13. I'm interested in premier for creamer. Is there a flavor you use? Do you add the powered or a premixed shake?
  14. I understand. When you make up your mind to do it you want to Go! But it will get here. I started my process in 9/16 and my surgery is just three weeks away.
  15. I would love to hear how it goes. Mine is three days later on the 5th
  16. It's odd the only pre op diet I have is for the one day prior to surgery. Does anyone else have this?
  17. May 5 is my date. I'm so ready.... and nervous
