  2. My doctor just signed me up and I found the link here for those interested https://www.nascobal.com/patient/weight-loss-surgery-and-nutrition
  3. My husband called the company back today to clarify. From what he was told, Insure Nutrition lost the contract here in NC as well as other states. We tried to see if there were any other companies offering the same deal - Free Protein Shakes. They told us that they will keep us posted if they regained the contract. This is strange because I do not understand the whole "contract" deal if its paid by insurance.
  4. Has any one received the free nutrition shakes from Premier nutrition? Or, it may be called Insure Nutrition. I received a supply of free nutritional drinks and noticed I did not receive them this month. I called and was told they lost a contract in the state of North Carolina therefore I will not be receiving them anymore. Sent from my VS995 using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. I work from home so I took off Thursday-Tuesday an returned Wednesday. Since you can consider muy job a desk job I can say I was in pain sitting on Wednesday maybe a week will do but everyone is different
  14. I paid 5999.99 at Mexicali Bariatric Center in Mexico
  15. Since you are a fluent Spanish-speaker you will be just fine in Tijuana. I flew into San Diego and went to Mexicali. I have not told anyone at work what I was doing - I don't plan to tell them because the 1st they will say is, "You are just fine you don't need to do something so drastic!" Only people in my family who know are my mom, husband and two BFF's. My BFF from college had hers done many years ago and I had her full support. I understand being nervous. I was so nervous up until the day of surgery. Please keep me posted! I didn't have anyone to talk to while in Mexicali, I only called my husband and mom the entire time.
  16. Hi I'm feeling great thanks! The postop liquid diet isn't hard at all. You won't feel like wearing or drinking and you have to force yourself to do so. I wasn't required to pre-diet so my last week I ate everything i wanted. I ate so horribly terrible the last week when I went in for lab work my cholesterol and glucose were really high. But all is well now. Keep in touch! Would like to check on your progress I have plenty of tips especially if you are having surgery in Mexico. Make sure you download Google translate on your phone it makes it easier to communicate with your nurses and do not forget your pillow, you'll need it traveling back home
