  1. A mixed bag of emotions but mainly I'm really excited and happy!
  2. It's not realistic to say we'll never ear pizza again. The surgery will help prevent a minor slip from turning into a major binge. After I reach goal I've been told by doctor there are no restrictions just eat protein first
  3. Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to hear.
  4. Thank you all for your support. I know there will be good and bad days but I'm trying to remain positive and remember all the reasons I'm having surgery. Glad to have a supportive group to help get through it. Good luck everyone
  5. Day three of my 2 week liquid diet and I'm exhausted with a bad headache. I really hope this passes. If it's this bad now what's it going to be like after surgery?
  6. A lot of people cheat on thier pre op diet. These will be the hardest part of the journey. After surgery is when it'll get easier.
  7. 12 days till surgery!! It's been a long road coming to this decision but I'm ready and couldn't be happier or more excited! March 8th here I come!!
  8. Same for a lot of us. I've told very few people because they just don't understand the struggle is real
  9. Thank you. I expect to be crabby for a few days and have warned family and friends. LOL
  10. Hoping the protein shakes satisfy me.
  11. I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I'm scheduled for March 8th and having good days and bad. You have to remind yourself why you're doing this. The good outweighs the bad. Pray
  12. That's awesome! Congrats! I can't wait till it's over. Lol
  13. March 8th and getting very nervous
  14. I'm also having anxiety about my upcoming March 8 sleeve surgery. I think it's very normal at this stage to be nervous. I just remind myself with my past attempts and failures and now starting to have health issues from the weight that this is the time and I need to do this before it's too late. A month post op we're going to feel great! God bless
  15. I gained 25 pounds during my six month Doc supervised weight loss because I went onto an antidepressant known to cause weight gain. I was very nervous I wouldn't be approved but was told by surgeons office that as long as BMI is over 37 I shouldn't worry...got approval on 2/10/17 for a march 8th surgery Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  18. I'm scheduled for my sleeve surgery on march 8! Very excited and a little nervous but I know it's time. Nothing else I've tried has worked long term. I have been trying different protein shakes for a few months to find what I like, muscle milk lite and GNC Lean 25, boost lite are delicious. Good luck everyone!
