Surgery 3/8 gastric sleeve + hernia repair. Gassy all night. Today gas pain is minimal. I had to stay a extra day b/c I have to drink 2oz an hr and i can do 1 oz

Headed to hospital now.

I have the worst headache. Any suggestions? I'm not hungry, I'm getting nauseous b/c the headache is sooo bad.

Did you call the insurance company

I just looked online w/ my insurance company and saw I was approved! It takes AVMED 3-4 business days

My Surgeon office won't give me a set until I get the approval. I didn't go through his office for any appointments. I did everything on my own and once I did everything that my insurance required to get the surgery, I looked on line for the surgeon I wanted set up an consultation had all the labs results , psyc eval, and 6 month visits faxed to him. They were impressed too. Called me on 2/8 and said they faxed everything to insurance on2/7. I went on line to see if they did I see they have everything. I called insurance today they said give them 10 days

What insurance company do you have?

Be persistent. Ask the insurance company if they can email you a copy of the approval and go to the Bariatric doctor office and see what the problem is.

When was all your paperwork submitted to the insurance company and how soon after did you get your surgery date

I finished all my requirements,my paperwork was submitted to my insurance company (Avmed for State of FL workers) on 2/7/17. Does anyone know how long it should take for my approval?
