  7. Hey Kim! Girl I'm sure you are wanting something to chew lol! Are you allow to at least chew gum? The consult went good I'm looking at the surgery being in March or April depending on the results of my sleep study. Hoping that I don't have sleep apnea for many reasons but apparently I'll have to be on a cpap for two weeks before the surgery if I do. Having the sleep study on the 22nd. Maybe your doc will let you have scrambled egg?

  21. In 1999-2000 I had a Vertical Gastric Banding (mesh) by a Doc Mason Jett in OKC. Over the past 17yrs I've countlessly struggled with vomiting, avoided meat, bread and Pasta due to everything getting "stuck" or anything spicy due to terrible reflux. Also, I've had some serious issues with not being able to have bowel movements. So I've constantly been on fleet pills, suppositories and other devices to be able to go. Needless to say I'm terrified at what they are going to find when they do a scope. My abdomen is always very distended especially up top above my belly button. BMI is 33.3. I have my 1st consultation on Thursday 2/9/17 and I will have to be a self pay so I'm certain I'll be able to arrange the revision surgery quick. After the research I've done I'm going with the roux-en-y gastric bypass. Crossing fingers that this will be a better solution for a life long way of living. If anyone is in a similar situation I would love to buddy up. Please reach out, Amy Thank you in advance, Amy
  22. Congrats! Thank you in advance, Amy
  23. Hello there! I had a VGB in 2000 and going for my first visit with a new surgeon on the 9th to discuss a revision to RNY. I'm hoping mine goes as smoothly to surgery date as yours. Thank you in advance, Amy
  24. I'm nervous too but I have my first consult to the revision on the 9th. Thank you in advance, Amy
