  3. Tomorrow is my 2 week post-op appointment and I am so excited to have something that isn't liquid!! Wondered if anyone had any favorite ideas for the "soft/purée" stage. A scrambled egg sounds like filet mignon at this point! . I had my RNY on 1/25, which was a conversion from a very unsuccessful and complicated vertical banded gastroplasty which I had done in 2010. Nothing but problems with that....reflux, choking, vomiting. Hoping to feel better and get healthy now that I have the RNY..... Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. Prayers headed to both BerMichele09 and Jazzle!! I am one week post-op now and feel really good. Since I started my pre-op diet on 1/15, I have lost 14.6 lbs. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Never. Sorry, the risks to the new stomach and new life you have been given are just not worth it. Be strong! You got this! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I never wore one either. Have been okay without it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. @ Sxapeel - I'm new too. I had my RNY on 1/25. I took the Miralax powder the day after I was discharged from the hospital just to avoid constipation. It worked and I'm glad I didn't wait until there was a problem. Good luck! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  8. I had RNY on 1/25 and have been home working on making sure I get my recommended 48-60 oz of Fluid a day. What has helped the most is changing what I drink frequently. I have a Protein shake first, then some Water or crystal light, then chicken broth, then Protein Shake, then SF popsicle. The variety makes it much easier and more tolerable!
