  1. Oh my gosh yes! It is so frustrating. I have a lot more to go too, and I'm already "getting too skinny" for people. I'm only 3 1/2 months out. I also get told I'm not eating enough, and it's so unhealthy. Why can't people just mind their own business sometimes. haha
  2. It's so rewarding, and also so motivating!
  3. Finally in one-derland! Never thought I'd get here, but i'm so glad I did!
  4. As of today I have lost almost 23 pounds including my 2-week diet. The first week after I was dropping weight so fast, and this week I haven't lost anything. I don't know if this is a stall, or I'm not doing something right. Is that normal? I'm getting really discouraged already.
  5. I had surgery on the 29th as well. I hope you're feeling a little better. I can't believe they didn't send you home with pain medicine, and my doctor doesn't even let us drink anything cold or hot. Everything has to be room temp. I also got sent home with blood thinners that I have to take so it's weird that your doctor didn't even give you that.
  6. Oh my gosh that's phenomenal! Good job!
  7. That makes me feel better, thanks!
  8. I only hurt in one spot, but they keep my medicated. No gas pain or anything. Walking feels great! Just worried about the pain of the drain being removed.
  9. Thank you! I'm hurting a little, but it's so nice to see my future in a much more positive way. I'm so glad I'm not one of the people that regrets it immediately.
  10. Today was surgery, and it feels so good to say I'm finally post-op(:
  11. So my surgery is tomorrow, and I made the mistake of not asking off today. I didn't know that I had to drink a whole bottle of magnesium citrate today so today will be interesting... I'm super excited for tomorrow though!
  12. My surgery is in 9 days. I'm so nervous all of a sudden, and questioning if this is a good decision. Is that normal? I've been so excited, and then all of a sudden I'm scared to fail.
  13. I'm definitely hoping it's not as bad as it seems!
  14. Popsicles and Jello are really good additional options. Thank you!
  15. I start my 2 week liquid diet tomorrow. Any advice? I'm pretty nervous.
  16. I have a surgery date, but the crappy part is not knowing if it'll even get approved.. mine was submitted 2/23
  17. I finished all of my requirements, and now I'm waiting to see if I'll get approved. How long does it usually take?
  18. That is amazing! Good job!
  19. I'm good now. About to start my liquid diet. Thanks everyone (:
