I too am a nurse that does 12 hour shifts. The doctor wants me out at least 4 weeks. I was sleeved on 4/20/17. I rather take the time and be ok, than end up back in the hospital.

Update. 5 days post op. Im feeling much better and hope to be able to go home today. It started out rough but im still grateful for making it this far. Goodluck everyone.

So, i had my sleeve down on the 20th. Um, i cant say it started out ok but definitely was more of a bumpy obstacle. I tries to get oit of bed and passed outIm a few hours away from surgery. Cant sleep. So excitedI am getting sleeved on the 20th. Tomorrow is prep day. Light breakfast and lunch and then liquids til midnight. Im so exited and nervous. I started in January and have met with the surgeon, the nutritionist, social worker and have had my preop testing done. I Have my follow up with the NP and the 2nd nutritionis the appt, medical clearance appt and the Social worker signed off for me to go to the group therapy 3 classes in March. I weigh 235 lbs and I'm 5ft 1 inch. Yes I am new from.
