  1. yes mine told me there was no need. I asked about the liver and he said no that is not the way they do it. Not sure how I felt about his answer.
  2. Amy I hope you have a very uneventful day Best of luck xx
  3. hi All, is it possible for you to post your pre-op diets so I can see the difference we all have? I was told no restrictions until the day before, but a lot of what I have read in my research says that a liquid diet before can reduce the liver etc so I am interested, thanks
  4. Do you have particular blogs or you tube channels you follow because they are informative and motivating that you could share please. I did a google search and found some but many are old and have not been updated in a while. What concerns me in reading those is that many of them stopped posting when they started putting back on the weight and I am feeling a little apprehensive about the journey. Sure that first 12 months might be worth shouting about but I also want to see how others get through the tougher times. Thanks all.
  5. very inspiring, what has been key in making sure you keep losing?
  6. many thanks for your replies. I guess I will miss one on the day of surgery and hope that on day 2 I can swallow one, they are pretty small. Or crush it, thanks
  7. It is never easy, I admire your commitment to turn things around.
  8. I have never weighed a single food in my life and I wonder about my ability to keep to it. Then I saw your post , your comment, and yours stats. Congrats and thank you for being the example I need to follow.
  9. Congrats on your WL already. I have to admit I have never been a fan of cottage cheese, but who knows I might be desperate
  10. Hello all, I take an antidepressant daily, a small tablet. It is not available in liquid form. Its a small (ish) dose and I don't mind missing it for one day but any longer and it has withdrawal effects etc. Has anyone else had something similar to deal with. I was wondering could it be crushed but still will I get it down on day 2? Day 1 my surgeon advised is no liquids at all. 18 days until surgery. Thanks
  11. i have just finished this book and found it a great resource. I got it on audible and listened to it in the car, waiting for the kids etc. It helped me with my preparations and it has some great checklists and resources.
