  1. It was my first day as well! I'm in Australia so I'm allowed any 3 protein products from a program so the highlight is a protein bar!!! But got through it - 13 more to go. Goodluck!
  2. Very exciting!! Start 2 week pre-op diet this week - stressed about that! But can't wait to get my life back on track. Best of luck ?
  3. Me too - good luck
  4. Thanks everyone appreciate your feedback. Worrying what other people think has always been a huge thing for me - on an intellectual level I know that it is stupid but at a gut evel it is primal if that makes sense! Something that I'm trying to do is just be more private about myself and stop this insatiable need to justify myself to everyone. Perhaps once I've practised that I may be able to move on and just tell people he truth without worrying about their reactions. Thanks again
  5. I'm being sleeved on 19th April - I've told mum, my sister, Hubble and 1 friend. It is something really private that I don't feel comfortable telling people but I don't want to glibly say 'eating less and exercising' and perpetuating myth that will result in weight loss. Any suggestions for something vague but not dishonest to tell people?
  6. Hi I'm booked in for sleeve April 19th. I am 2 weeks into cutting out sugar, lowering carbs and increasing Protein and healthy fats - really want to try and address my sugar addiction before op. My question is concerned that pre op Optifast diet is very high in sugar. A is there a sugar free option? Also healthy fats is really working for me and I do believe thAt sugar is the real enemy and not fats but I note that all the guidelines still push low fat after operation. Love to hear any responses Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
