  1. I use them but not before mixing with Water. I usually mix one with about 24 oz of water. If you drink it by itself it's pretty nasty tasting. I am not a fan on lactose so this is a good alternative. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  2. I am one month as of today. I went through a two week stall from weeks 2-4, that finally broke on Thursday. While weight wasn't coming off I noticed clothes getting looser, so I knew weight was shifting to muscle. The stall broke when I got to introduce fish. Shrimp cocktail never tasted so good. 3. I am right at 4 weeks and I haven't had any issues besides going through a 10 day stall. I had zero pain, zero gas, zero swelling issues. Energy was back by day 4. I do get hiccups if I eat to fast but it's a good warning sign to stop eating. Hopefully the stall will lift soon but this isn't a quick fix so I am in this for the long haul. 4. I have a 10 and 11 year old and I kind of went the opposite way. I told them that I was having some surgery first and then when they asked why I told them it would help me lose weight. I then proceeded to tell them things I was going to be able to do with them (amusement parks, Water parks, etc) once I lost weight. Once they found out that they were excited for me and of course themselves. I think if you tell them how it can affect them positive ways they will support and encourage you.
