  4. Before and after two months post op.
  5. Yes, this happens to me. They also get squished when I cross my legs. But I must say the bony butt is the most uncomfortable at this point.
  6. I was sleeved May 16th. I am down 44 pounds in 2 months. I have been walking 2 to 4 miles a day. I just completed the first day of The Ease into 5k app today.
  7. 2 months post op. Down 44 pounds. 72 down altogether. Here is a high weight pic and a pic from tonight. Same clothes!
  8. First picture is from November 2016 at 303 pounds. The second picture is from tonight. Same clothes. I had to hold my pants from falling to the floor. Tomorrow, I will be two months post op and weigh in at 231. So glad I made the decision for WLS.
  9. Sleeve for me. I was wheeled in OR about 830 and was in my regular room by 1130.
  10. I was sleeved on the 16th. I have lost about 16 pounds since surgery. I too am having problems with the protein shakes. Just tired of them. Didn't like the dissolvable vitamins either. I have been taking a regular multivitamin but have Bariatric vitamins coming Tuesday. I have walked 4 miles the past two days. Two miles in morning and afternoon.
  11. How are you doing?
  12. I had terrible pain the day after surgery once I started sipping. It felt like every sip even the smallest would bounce on a ball and then work its way down. I just had a ton of gas right under my sernum. It gets better!
  13. I'm down 10 pounds since surgery. Started full liquids today. Drank a couple of protein shakes and ate some sugar free cheesecake flavored pudding. I can drink multiple big sips. Incisions just itching. Started to rubbing neosporin on them to help cut down on thickness of the scars hopefully.
  14. I get to start full liquids tomorrow as I will be day 4 post op. Have a couple of homemade pudding cups made up of SF jello pudding cheesecake flavor. It smelled so good. Also kinda looking forward to drinking my protein shakes again. I have had almost no protein since surgery. Took all I could muster to choke down the vitamin mix today for the first time.
  15. Today has been much better. I have been able to drink a little more than sips, I ate almost a full snack pack cup of SF jello, and 1/2 cup of beef broth. I haven't had any pain meds since Wednesday. I will be on to full liquids Sunday, and hopefully start hitting my protein goals.
  16. I was sleeves on the 16th. Yesterday was was good until I started fluids then the rest of the day was miserable. Much better today. Gas is moving out from under my rib cage.
  17. Had my swallow test this morning. Everything is sealed off. Should be going home today sometime.
  18. A little under 6 months.
  19. OMG....the hardest thing about this surgery so far has been trying to urinate. I had to get an in and out cath this afternoon. Just spent 30 minutes in bathroom straining. I finally had to drag the garbage can over and put my feet up on it to isolate where and how I needed to push. Got the job done, but I am wore out.
  20. I made it ok. They put me out close to 8. I was through recovery and back to a room by 1045. In recovery I had some pain, mostly in the area right beneath my sternum. Felt like the worst case of heart burn ever. The pain has eased up, but still getter my pain med every 3 hours. Have already walked the whole floor twice. Now waiting for my "water works" to start flowing again.
  21. I will be having a VSG this morning. 30# down from my HW of 303. Day of surgery weight is 273. Ready to loose another 100.
  22. I am feeling pretty good about it. I have been through a lot of surgery's. You'll do fine!
