I'd like to add that at my psych visit I felt like she was pushing bypass over the sleeve. A lot of the appointment was me explaining why I wanted the sleeve over bypass and it just seemed awkward to me. She was really nice, but I feel like it was a waste of time. I'm pre op, surgery is scheduled for 1/25 and I'm so happy to see you all are freezing! (Kidding). Seriously though I'm hot all the time and sweat when I barely do anything. Personally I would feel cheated if someone who had wls were in the competition. I do feel you have the upper hand and it's likely there will be hard feelings. I don't think it's worth it to join in on that. Just focus on your own personal weight loss without getting involved in that. Less negativity the better when it comes to work life. My office gives you a date then they submit for surgery. I think every place has their own way of doing things. Hopefully a January date will happen for you.
