  1. I’ve had a bit of regain the past few months. 15lbs I just met with my nutritionist who I haven’t seen since I had the surgery to buckle down and start losing again.
  2. (2018) I was around 211 when I got pregnant and delivered at 240. I still had elevated blood pressure throughout my pregnancy. I also did have gestional diabetes so I was induced at 37 weeks & 3days. With my second(2020) I was 220 when I got pregnant and delivered at 240 again. He is now 14 months and I'm 139lbs. So it did take me a lot longer to loose the weight, but I was only 22 when I got the surgery. I don't regret taking longer to loose the weight.
  3. I've had two pregnancies since the sleeve. With my first I was only 11 months post op and not at my goal weight.
  4. My highest weight was 327lbs Starting weight: 308 the day of surgery Current weight: 139lbs Date of surgery 5/2/17 almost 5 years out and I've had 2 pregnancies since having surgery. My doctor given goal weight was 170lbs
  5. HW 327 in 12/16 SW 308 5/17 and I've had two pregnancies since and I'm around 165lbs now. I'd still like to loose another 20lbs.
  6. Almost 4 years post vsg. I got pregnant 11 months after having the sleeve. I lost 100lbs. I've had 2 pregnancies and gained 22lbs with the first and 20lbs with the second. I lost the weight quickly after having the kids. I did have extra growth ultrasounds during both pregnancies. They were both fairly easy.
  7. I had the vsg in May of 2017. I got pregnant with my first 11 months post op. I never hit my goal weight, oops. I'm now due in December with #2 and I'm really hoping to lose the weight in the New year.
  8. I was 11 months out of surgery when I found out I was pregnant with my first. I am now 3 years post op and pregnant with baby #2. For both pregnancies it took one month after stopping the pill.
  9. I'm 3 years out from the vsg and I can't eat mashed potatoes or scrambled eggs or anything spicy.
  10. I had surgery in May of 2017. My highest weight was 327lbs I made it down to 211 and then was pregnant with my first 10 months post op. I'm around 230 but I'm also pregnant again. I'm hoping to really kick it in gear after this baby
  11. I'm on pregnacy # 2 since I've had surgery. I just take the target brand prenatals and a calcium chew.
  12. Hey y'all, my highest weight was 327lbs? I had the vsg on 5/2/17. I got down to 211lbs then found out I was pregnant in 4/18. I got up to 227lbs during pregnancy. I lost that pregnancy weight right away, but have been stuck at 211lbs since having baby almost 15 months ago. I have been tracking my food not going over 1,200 and exercising 3 days a week. Anyone else have a stall?
  13. I found out I was pregnant at 11 months post OP from the sleeve. I ended up gaining 17lbs during the pregnancy. 28 weeks you have to be tested for gestational diabetes. I didn't want to drink the glucola drink so I opted to test my blood sugars. At 34 weeks they gave me the diagnosis of gestational diabetes, because I had slightly high fasting sugars (100, when the cut off is 94) they wanted me to get extra ultrasounds and meet with a high risk OB. Mind you I was livid at this point. There was already talk of being induced early for high blood pressure (130/80s which was norm, for me even before pregnancy) and now they wanted me to go on metformin. I had a growth ultrasound at 35 weeks, nugget was only 5lbs 2oz. I was induced at 37 weeks and 3 days, gave birth to a 5 lbs 6oz baby girl. She's 10 weeks old now, breastfeeding like a champ! I've lost 28lbs, wanting to loose another 50, but not wanting it to affect my BM supply.
  14. None of my extended family members know. I didn't want many people knowing, my husband told his family and I was livid.
  15. I swear by colace. It didn't make my stomach cramp like m.o.m. The max dosage is 3 pills a day. You could take them all at once or break them up through out the day. If it's really bad you could try magnesium citrate.
  16. Same thing happened to me. I was tested for c. Diff, which came back negative. I ended up starting the puree stage a week early, it has settled down since Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I just started working again, so I'm hoping it's enough to distract myself Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I was also sleeved on May 2nd and feel the same way. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. I started my 2 week pre-op diet on April 17th .On May 1st I could only have clear liquids. I also had to drink a bottle of magnesium citrate (sp?) Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. I'm 5 days post op. I'm still on full liquids for another 10 days. This morning I tried a sip of the premier Carmel protein shake. I instantly got stomach cramps and had to use the bathroom. Ugh, anyone have different suggestions for protein shakes? Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. I'm from ND as well. Scheduled for the sleeve on May 2nd Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. My surgery is May 2nd! It's been a rough few days with the pre op diet
  23. For me I had to get blood drawn, xray and an ekg. I also had to follow up with my PC Dr. And go over my current medications. Prior to all of the I had to get a GI test
