  1. I feel perfectly fine. I don't feel nauseous and I haven't even vomited. I just hope it won't cause any issues. I'm barely eating, I've only ate twice today. Ugh, I hope I'll be ok. Thank you for your encouraging words, I really appreciate it!
  2. Hello everyone, Today is the 9th day of my post up and I've been put on pureed/soft foods. Here's the issue now... I've been ok, no nausea, no vomiting. I did something really bad. I actually cheated and ate a chicken sandwich and I've been eating some solid food but not much. I ate very, very, very slow and in small bites. It hasn't caused any nausea or vomiting. My band has just been placed but there isn't any fills yet. What can I do??? I feel so terrible. Maybe I wasn't ready to have the procedure.

  5. I'm sorry for the delayed response. You're welcome! I'm glad to hear it went well! I'm doing a little better. I'm still having gas pain but it's not as bad. I'm currently at my post op appointment now. I wish you a speedy recovery!
  6. I've been eating chicken noodle soup, without the chicken and smashing the noodles. I'm still hungry!! Omg!!
  7. I'm glad you're doing better!! I'm going crazy. I'm scared to risk it and end up throwing up.
  8. I know your surgery is tomorrow! Thinking about you! Let me know how it goes. You got this! XoXo
  9. Thank you so much!! Sitting in the recliner and putting pillows around me has helped big time. The liquid diet is killing me because I'm sooooooo unbelievably hungry. On top of that, I have a massive headache because I'm hungry. Now I'm really second guessing my decision
  10. I'll definitely let him know this Thursday. The pain in my stomach is just soreness and I'm still struggling with the gas pains in my shoulders.
  11. I hope you get better soon. The pain in my stomach is OK for now but the gas pain is still shooting up to my shoulders. The biggest issue I have right now is that I'm starving like crazy and I have a massive headache.

  14. Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I had lapband surgery on the 10th of this month. My recovery is ok, I have not thrown up and I'm a little sore but I am starving and have a massive headache!! I don't know what to do. I feel like I've made the biggest mistake. I'm on a 7 day liquid diet and I'm constantly starving. I need suggestions or advice PLEASE!!!
  15. Hello everyone, I had lapband surgery yesterday and I can barely move this morning. The pain is so severe that it only feels ok when I lay down. I've been given pain killers but the pain isn't really subsiding. Is this normal? Any recommendations? Also, I have to be on a liquid diet and all I've has is water and jello. Is there anything else I can take that isn't in my book? Thank you. Sent from my SM-N910T using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Awwww, thank you so much. I drank a little protein but I stopped. I can't seem to even lay down and sleep because of the gas pain. I am noticing myself cough up yellow stuff...is that normal? Sent from my SM-N910T using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. Hello everyone. My lap band surgery went well. When the anesthologist came in, he was talking to me and put something in my IV and I can't remember anything after that. All I remember is waking up. They told me they need to repair a hiatal hernia. I'm at home now and in the worst pain of my life because of the incicions but more because the gas is shooting up to my shoulders. Do you recommend I drink a protein made shake? Or just wait it out? I appreciate each and everyone of you and I thank you for being there for me. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
  19. Thank you so much. I was discharged already and now I'm at home trying to rest. I'm in the worst pain of my life. The gas that's in my stomach is shooting up to my shoulders and they also had to repair a hiatal hernia. I will be rooting for you next Tuesday. Thank you for your encouraging words, I truly appreciate it. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
  20. Wow, 56 is amazing! I'm glad you're doing better. Mine has always been around 120-165 and they have me on Propranolol 2x a day. It's definitely been helping me. I was informed of two leaky valves in my heart but I should be ok. I definitely will keep you all posted. Thank you. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App

  24. That's exactly what I wish for them to do. Yes, you're definitely right...I am working with professionals. The nurse told the anestologist how terrified I am and he actually called to speak to me. My nerves have calmed down, but I'm still a little scared. Thank you so much. I appreciate your advice. 25. Oh wow! Im glad everything went well with you. I have always had a high heart rate but it has slowed down since I started taking heart medication.
