  1. Wow you look amazing! I remember a few weeks ago we were talking about PB&J [emoji30][emoji23] glad you didn't eat it then you look great omg
  2. Are you getting protein in? That will help with the skin
  3. I was sleeved in December and I'm STILL struggling to get in all 60g of protein. Shakes don't sit to well with me but I try to get in one a day. I get my protein in through salmon, yogurt or egg whites but not all 60g. Any suggestions/ideas? What shakes do you guys like? Maybe it's the brand of shakes I'm getting. Not sure.
  4. Omg it's way to early I'm sure your surgeon meant around the house. You just had surgery becareful, don't try to rush. Let your body heal and rest up. Walk when you are ready
  5. Lol some are so quick to bash others on here (you'll see if you haven't already) no one would admit to breaking their NUT plan. I use to have a few cheez-it's when I was allowed to have solids but I stopped. I was way to happy with my progress I'm 3 months out and down 50+ pounds already so I don't want to stop the progress [emoji5]
  6. Hmm it depends I'm 3 months out and sometimes ground beef makes me sick. I guess it depends on the person and their body, so I would go with turkey
  7. Yes you can. It depends on your body and your choice actually. I like thin crust pizza, it sits well and doesn't make me feel stuffed or sick. Haven't had regular pizza yet I'm 3 months out and still a bit scared to try it.
  8. I recently had a 2/3 week stall. My doctor said it's good and part of the process because you can end up in hospital if you consistently lose weight so rapidly. I was sleeved about 9/10 weeks ago. Don't worry you will start losing again! I was so concerned at first also. I even bought a Fitbit to help with exercise [emoji30][emoji23]
  9. Congrats I'm so happy for you!!! I was sleeved on December 14th, lost close to 50 pounds so far. A little concerned because I had a stall for almost 3 weeks and I didn't know what to do.. then I checked the scale like two days ago and it started moving. Any stall problems?? Also anyone that has second thoughts about the sleeve like I did.. get it! Best thing I've done for myself health and confidence wise.
  10. I'm 9 weeks out and I am very satisfied. I've lost about 40+ pounds and I feel healthier, more active etc. not sleepy all the time either. Get the surgery for your health and a better you! Take your time and research it, look through out the app at different topics.
  11. I think the weak feeling is normal. Just try to get your fluids and protein in you will get better with time
  12. Honestly.. I felt the same way before I got sleeved. Then I realize that I can't let food control my life. You can eat that again just in a very very small portion. Get the surgery. You will love yourself even more and be happy with the amount of weight you lose. Get the sleeve! Don't let food stop you from getting the happiness you deserve. Good luck Throwin up sucks but it helps you realize when u over eat.
  13. It's not worth it! I use to feel like that also. Now I'm about 7 weeks out, I'm cleared for regular foods and I eat in moderation. Just wait till you get there!!!! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I was sleeved around the same time and I still can't get back to work as yet. Maybe it's because it's new to our bodies since we've been home and healing for a while but I just can't! I'm a teacher and I can't run around my kids when I feel tired nearly instantly! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. No rice, rice swells! chicken and veggies of course Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I felt like that my first 1-2 weeks post opp also. It's honestly just head hunger and mine was so bad to the point where I was planning out what days I'm gonna have pizza and wings when I'm cleared for all foods!!!! Now that I'm cleared for all foods I don't even want anything that I use to crave. It's all in your mind and you will get past that stage soon! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. Honestly I felt the same way when I first got my sleeve. You go through so much head hunger the first few days because you can only have Water, Jello etc. I am now 5/6 weeks post op, I am cleared to eat reg food again.. and honestly I don't even want any fast food. I've been to Wendy's the chili doesn't sit right with my stomach so I had it once and was done. I would have a grilled chicken snack wrap and only eat the chicken. I went from hating seafood and healthy things to slowly eating fruits and even salmon the other day. Don't worry you're only thinking about junk now but trust me when the time and temptation comes to actually eat it.. you won't even think about it. You'll be way too happy with your weight loss already! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. Hey question When can you start traveling after you've had the sleeve? I'm about 5/6 weeks out. Need to take a flight to another state for work next week. Is that to early to travel? I already called my doctor but he hasn't gotten back to me yet, so I decided to ask you guys. Let me know! Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  24. So you're almost 3 weeks out, good for you! How is your comment relevant to my post and question? You can't relate because you're not there yet and it seems like your stomach isn't anywhere near healed yet since you said "would absolutely kill me" and you are still in week 2 .... good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I hit the three week mark in 2 days so im not that far out. Is there that big of a difference between week 3 and week 4? I understand if you felt attacked by peoples comments but why did you post if you didnt want peoples feedback. This is a learning experience for all of us and you were probably more upset at the answer since you wanted to eat a particular food. I get it, sorry you felt my comment wasnt relavent i wont respond to your comments anymore since you are so much more further along than i am. Sent from my SM-J700T using the BariatricPal App Aww Jessi don't take it the wrong way, what I meant is that when I was about 10 days or more out personally I couldn't do much but eat applesauce that time was very difficult for me. Now I feel much better and are cleared for reg food. So at that time I wasn't commenting on posts that I couldn't relate to. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
