  1. My BMI is 54. My high weight was 311 and I'm now 293. I have one month left. I asked the doctors assistance if I should loose a lot or a little. They couldn't answer me. I really hope it doesn't affect me. Each time I stick to the diet the weight falls off super fast and it makes me scared. I know diets are short term. Thanks for your response.

  5. I am a little over half way threw my 6 month weight loss management. I have lossed 11 pounds so far. My fear is if I loose a good amount of weight they may say I can do it without the surgery. Has anyone gone threw this?

  7. The more support you have threw this journey the better. Surgery is not the easy way out. It is a lot of hard work. My family likes to gossip and I know if I didn't tell them I was having the surgery they would gossip I'm on drugs and that would be worst. I wish you the best of luck.
  8. I'm in the weight loss management program right now and the NUT tells us we will not meet our protein goal till about 6 months out. She says just to eat your protein portion first. We have enough to live off of already stored around our bodies. We are also not able to drink protein shakes.

  16. I got denied for surgery. They said they need proof I have tried to do a weight loss program or do a 6 month supervised weight loss. I've had the same doctor for 14 years and I've worked with him on weight loss but have never done anything supervised nor have I done a program like weight watchers. Any advise what I should do or submit for my appeal? Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App

  21. Do a meal prep. When you go out put some healthy snakes in your bag that way when he stops to get something you will have your snake ready. 9 pounds is so close. Watch your salts and flush your body with lots of Water. You got this! Sent from my VS995 using the BariatricPal App
