  2. I went in on a Wednesday and home Thursday afternoon. I fought with Doctor to release me. Haha. But I told my boss I had hernia repair (which i did). No one else asked where I was. I told my son same thing. It's NO ones business. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I said nothing. It's my journey! I eat smaller portions, Protein and increased Water. I'm so Not a private person so yes hard. But because people aren't educated on this surgery and what it's for, say nothing. You will find a lot of negativity. And it's usually from those who are skinny and/or healthy.   5. So I got the ok to start eating food. I was so excited! I had a 3 oz piece of turkey and 2 oz of sweet potatoes mashed. I ate the turkey first and then potato. I ate slowly but man it was hard.   8. I had it on 1/11. It was a tough 5 days I would say but got easier. Today makes 13 days out and I can not wait for the next stage. I'm so so sick of liquid only!!!! I'm also 5 days constipated.   13. 11 days out and still liquid phase. I hate it because I just want to CHEW. Not hunger though. Even went to mcdonalds to buy hubby food and have ZERO craving. And just kept reminding myself how gross this stuff is. Can't wait to move to next phase. I won't lie. Two weeks of liquids is the hardest part so far. Harder that pre op.   17. Exactly what Vee said. It will pass I'm on day 12 today and believe I felt like you. But now I feel totally normal. Just waiting for 2 weeks to hot so I can get off liquids.   22. So glad I found this post. I have that gross taste too. I'm six days post op. And such a white tongue. I have mouth rinse that I use. And try to brush my teeth after each "meal" or Protein shake. Will it go away? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I take any Soup that is low in carbs and sugar and use my nutribullet RX that pulsifies it. I get good flavor and it's liquid. I do this once a day. I'm pretty sure I will need two weeks of liquids
  24. I had a food funeral and enjoyed it. I also cheated up to two days before surgery. Did a full liquid diet though after. My bmi was 41 before surgery and.i guess I wasn't too concerned ant fatty liver.
