  1. Has anyone started to experience hair loss? Mine started about 2-3 weeks ago. I do have a lot of hair and it's long and pretty full (well, it was). It's definitely thinned out now and it's looking pretty dull. I knew it was going to happen. I lost a lot of hair in an unrelated sickness/surgery 7 years ago. I thought I was prepared for it to happen again. It still makes me sad. I'm taking biotin and using a product by Joico called Clinicure. I had good success with it last time. 2. It's a girls trip with my 3 besties. We have all turned 40 in the last couple years and we could finally all find 5 days to get away. 2 weeks ago I had to fly to LA for work (I live in Ohio) and although it still wasn't comfortable (is it for anyone not in 1st class?) I definitely felt less massive in my seat and I wasn't dreading it like I usually was. So, 45ish lbs lost made a difference! I have the same goal. 170-175. Same time frame. Here's hoping! 3. And congrats to you! I think we need to remind ourselves where we came from. And, omg, twins! 1 year old! You have to be exhausted! Thanks for the tip on vitamins. I think that's what I'm going to do too. I need to schedule another appt with NUT and go over everything I'm doing. My goal has been to be under 200 (199) by mid may (vacay to Mexico). I need to kick it up a couple notches Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I'm also lifting weights with a personal trainer for an hour twice a week: reformer Pilates once a week: elliptical for 30 mins 3 times a week Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. So glad you posted this! We are basically twinzies. Sleeved 12/19: Hw 270 Sw 255 Current - 222.2- and I've been in this 222-225 for 3 weeks! (I'm 5'7") I need to do something different. I see the dr on Thursday. Before surgery I LOVED water. I was great about it. Drank a gallon a day. Now, I struggle. It just seems to make me nauseous. I know this is something I need to work on. Otherwise - I stay around 1000-1100 calories. 60-80 grams on protein (60 is a bad day. It's usually 75-80). I drink 2 or 3 protein shakes a day and eat chicken or turkey for protein. What are you doing about vitamins? I bought Journey 3+3 from bariatriceating.com but they made me super nauseous (threw up a couple times) and dr told me to d/c for the time being. It helped. Now I need to find something else. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I had surgery on Monday 19th. I was in the hospital until late Wednesday night because the nausea was sooooo bad. Phenergan, Zofran, and Reglan- that's what they sent me home with. But it was so bad. I vomited several times and was miserable. I started feeling better late Thursday and Friday was a huge improvement. I'm still taking zofran and 1 phenergan at night Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Surgery tomorrow too! (12/19) actually in about 12 hours and 15 minutes (but who's counting?) Been going though the process since August and never thought this day would get here. I wasn't nervous at all until I woke up this morning. Lots of anxiety today for sure! Good luck everyone! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
