  3. I just had an upper GI done...a requirement by the doctor and found out that the band isn't even put in correctly. I don't know what'll happen now!

  5. I went through true results so the surgeon didn't actually ever consults with me beforehand. I recently found out that True Results and Lap Band are partners. Which made total sense and clears up why true results went out of business! Yeah it's super frustrating!!

  7. So I was banded November 29th last year...it hasn't even been 6 months but I have not lost a pound. I've had 3 fills and really am able to still eat whatever I want. My surgeon and many other doctors have told me that I need to consider revising to the sleeve. I've started that process and I'm just wondering is my insurance actually going to cover this? My surgery wasn't even six months ago! I'm totally down and am jumping right on taking care of the requirements. Any advice for me?? I have blue cross blue shield of Illinois.
