@@Dee~Dee I'm so elated everything went well with your surgery, I see it was on the 6th of December so you'll be coming up on one month post op, which is great!!! I'm scheduled for Jan 20th which will be approaching faster than I can blink... So I'm a little nervous, but excited at the same time, can you give me any insight? @@Trill I'm scheduled for surgery January 20th, the surgery jitters haven't fully kicked in yet but trust me they will shortly. I have to do a high Protein diet for two weeks, then clear liquid for 2-3 days. I'll probably just do a full liquid for two weeks to train my body, get my mind right. Hey wilson06, thanks for responding to my message, I really see that the group is very encouraging and I love it... I live in Atlanta, I'm not a patient of Dr. Macik, actually going through Dr. Titus Duncan, I haven't received a surgery date yet, I've completed all my requirements, so I'm just patiently praying, waiting and trying to slowly prepare myself for this life changing change. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time but I know its for the best!!! I'm new to this site and figured the forums and everything would give me insight and encouragement. I have Wellcare (Medicaid) of Georgia, I had to complete the 6 month supervised WLS visits, after completing anybody know how long before approval after submission? Then the process after approval?

Hello, I'm new to this forum, figured I'd join and have the opportunity to gain some friends who have been and are getting ready to go down the road on their Weight Loss Journey. I do live in the Atlanta Area, I have completed all the necessary steps for surgery, just currently waiting on a date from my doctor, which should be any day now. I'd love to join you and or a group of ladies on this journey. I have so many questions, plus my nervousness is taking over slightly. I pray to just find friends and encouragement. Thanks A Bunch
