  14. Wow, what an amazing reply. Thank you so much for your honesty. I've already lost friends from this and I haven't had it done yet. I have one person by my side, and thats my husband and tbh if I only have him, then I'm ok with that. Although he's a little on the fence about it all atm.I'm really quite scared, but all this positivity has really helped me. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and give an in depth look in to the life of a gastric sleeve xxx????xxxx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App

  16. Thank you so much. Really d**k of people's negative views xxx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App Back when I had just decided to do surgery I started posting around in internet forums and people were very negative saying I didn't have enough to lose to require the surgery and basically just acting like I was being over dramatic. I didn't want to wait until I was 350 lbs, because it WAS in my future. I kept losing weight and regaining and every time I went a little higher. I didn't want to wait until I had all sorts of co morbid conditions and my health was deteriorating. Let those people judge, in the end you're the one who has to be your own advocate when it comes to your health! That is so true!!I was 294lbs and I have lost a lot, but I can not shift the last bit of weight. I have all sorts of reasons, but as you say, people will judge and they haven't walked in our shoes thanks so much for your message xx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App
  17. Hi Ella,I am 5'2 and so my bmi is like 36 something. I think as the other lady mentioned on here, sometimes I'm scared to say how much I weigh as people laugh and tell me I'm being stupid. It's like I'm too big to be small, but too small to be big. But what people don't understand, I'm not happy and I have a severelyautistic child.. I need to be able to run after her... and fast lol. Thanks so much for replying. Have a great day xxxx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App my BMI was 37 so i'm close to being there with ya. don't let anyone discourage you. Thank you so much. Really dick of people's negative views xxx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App
  18. Hi. That's a good Idea, I'd most certainly think you will lose that on weight watchers. But if you do the liquid diet before hand, I'm sure that will take that 15lbs off. Good luck ????xxx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App
  19. Hi how are u?Thanks so much for replying. Wow, that is abso4 amazing to hear. I seem to be only hearing horror stories lately or people ridiculing me for not being big enough. We are so short that it's hard being bigger with a Small frame. Well done you've done amazing. And again, thank u for taking the time to reply. Xxxx???? 21. I hate to tell my numbers because too many people do not understand. I will share them with you (and obviously anyone who reads this). My surgery was last Monday. My starting weight was 190, my pre-surgery weight (after 2 week liquid diet to shrink liver) was 180. I have not weighed myself since Friday, at that time I was 178. I know the numbers seem low, but I am only 4'10". The less weight you have to lose, the slower it comes off. According to some charts, it will take me 18 months to get to my goal weight. The decision is hard, don't let anyone else make it for you. Good luck! Sent from my SM-T817V using the BariatricPal App Hi, I hope you're feeling well. And thanks so much for replying.. When I tell people how much I weigh they laugh at me and so I know what u mean with saying you're scared to tell people your weight. We are both short, therefore our bmi us quite high still. I do know it's going to be a lot longer for us to get it off, but I'm sure it's all worth it. Have a great day and thanks for taking the time to reply. Good luck and well done xxxx???? 25. Ahh thank you so much. And you're so right. We all have different thoughts and battles we are going through. I love in the UK and having it done in the Czech Republic as it's too expensive here. So kinds of scared of that I think. But it is what it is and I need to man up and think of why I'm doing this ♡♡ thanks again for your fabulous words of wisdom xxx Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App
