Hi, My name is Kathy. I had my second appt with my surgeon and he gave me a surgery date...JANUARY 19th. I only have my nutrition class, my last support meeting before surgery and my endoscope to complete....then it's just my surgeon again next Friday and my Primary Drs physical to give me clearance. It's all gone pretty fast. My first appt with my Bariatric Surgeon was November 15th, 2016 and now my surgery date is almost here.

Hi, I don't have a surgery date yet....going through all the classes and consults and tests. I'm am going through this with my husband. My grown kids are all for it. My husband tells me, "just diet, you're not that heavy". I'm 5'7" and 285 lbs. I'm the one with bad knees and other sketetal problems. So I totally understand. I haven't told my friends yet...I'll tell them after, they don't need to know.

I'm a newbie here. My name is Kathy. I saw my Bariatric surgeon last week. All my tests, evals & consults are set up and classes...the last class is the 1st week of January. I am 61, 5'7" & weigh 280 lbs. I have multiple health problems. I've had back & cervical surgeries and now my knees are bad and my ortho surgeon said he's hopes my knees will hold out a little longer. I also have high b/p. I'm nervous but excited listening to every give their surgery dates. Wishing everyone luck with their surgery. Can't wait till its my turn. Hoping sometime in January or February 2017.
