  1. Agreed. 11/3/16 here. It's not like a cold in that it gets slightly better every day; it gets significantly better. After a week it seems anticlimactic. I'm more frustrated because I have to track so many things at one time and I only lost 2 pounds. It's not like using MyFitnesspal. I'm tracking: Vitamins, fluids, blood pressure, Protein, full liquid meals, and exercise. It's a bit much. I'd like to spend one hour without drinking or eating or thinking about eating or drinking. 2. It will be around 3 months. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I had psyched myself out way more than I needed to. I had surgery on 11/3. Everything is going great! Incisions are almost healed. I have the slightest bit of muscle pain on the "big incision" side. I'm eating and drinking right at the minimum. The most difficult thing for me is all this tracking whether it be the Vitamins or "meal" or fluids or Protein. I honestly feel like if I'm awake I've got something in my mouth. I started full liquids yesterday. It's super boring. sugar free pudding, milk, creamed Soups, etc. I'd rather drink Protein shakes, if I'm being honest. I haven't felt true hunger yet and I don't ever want to again. I've lost 2 pounds. I can't say this is the "best decision I've ever made"...yet. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. No. They used dermabond glue Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Dietitian and doctor suspect it's a Protein or dye causing a reaction. I alternate protein supplements so I just have to pick 1, stick with it for 3 days, and see which ones I react or do not react to. It's not lactose issues. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. It doesn't hurt and is definitely across the entire abdomen. It's itchy too. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. 2 days post op I felt just like you! It should be getting better tomorrow. I walked and walked and walked. Take medium sized steps and land on your front foot a bit harder than usual. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Hi all. I had surgery last Thursday. Since Monday I have a rash across my abdomen. I have an appointment tomorrow and I just feel like they're going to tell me it's hormone changes. I also have mid-back pain on the right side. Sometimes I'll have an almost labored or skipped breath when inhaling. I just want some options because I know I've been getting in enough fluids and walking and Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I had surgery on Thursday afternoon. I was off Friday and the following Monday and that Tuesday I went back to work. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
