I git a little kiddy step stool/seat. Plastic, very lightweight. Drilled a hole in one end to put a plastic rope through. I open the door. Get the step stool out of the truck. Place it on the ground. Mostly with my foot with the string/rope in my hand. Step up on the running board then step up to the floor board. Sit down. Pick up the step stool and put it where ever I need to. Off you go!!!! I am 68 and had to go through a sleep study on Dec21. They found a problem and now I am waiting for next appointment on Thursday for the results. I have wanted this surgery for 35 years. Had the insurance then. Was scheduled for surgery and a friend talked me out of it. I have so regretted it. Now that I have insurance again, I am hoping all goes well. I suffer with depression and I was on 4 meds for that. I stopped taking the one that helps me go to sleep. I knocks me OUT!!! I don't like the way it makes me feel. I quit the Lexapro. I am on the borderline of weight and BMI. My issue is I am a diabetic. I still have to have the sleep study done then they will submit to insurance company. I am so afraid I will have gone through all this just to have them deny it. I am so tired of being a slave to diabetes.
