  1. Hi everyone, After I got out of a bad/ abusive/toxic relationship. I feel ever so lonely. I could literally go for days without talking to anyone outside my job if my family never called. I typically went to the supermarket Everyday so I could Exchange a few words with the cashier as stupid as it seems. During that whole period I turned to food to comfort and only now after breaking up with her over a year ago and finally kicking her out of my house a few months back I am getting back to how I was. Lost many close friends , distanced for family and now working it’s difficult to go out and ‘party’ .Most depressing part about it that my Ex was a feeder and I believe it was her intent to get me as fat as she could so no one would find me attractive. I feel so detached from my body and since being put on a cpap I would never stay anywhere overnight as I find it embarrassing. I look at Pictures of myself from 5 years ago and all I think to myself how different my Life would be if I didn’t get involved with this person. Just a small rant, I need to vent my thoughts.
  2. No you shouldn’t take any Drugs before a sleep Study as it will not produce accurate results. Diazepam is a depressant it will naturally relax you’re muscles even more which could cause sleep apnoea. If you already have sleep apnoea it would make it worse.
  3. Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could talk to me about their experience of 'food addiction' prior to bariatric surgery. Did you need to see a psychologist ? Or go for therapy ? How has the process affected you ? Do you think the bariatric surgery was the only option to controlling yourself Just asking as over the past 4 years when I gained 40kg (90lbs-ish) i have lost my ability to control myself around food. Binge followed by regret, promising myself to never have it again breaking the promise etc what I eat , how much etc. Thanks.
  4. I m sure everyone goes through remorse and hate after such an operation. Most people have an "addiction" to food and a sudden cold turkey can make anyone feel that way

  11. It's just puzzling because I surgery it's all hit and miss with a little bit of luck. Will be doing this out of pocket so yes one fee would be better than paying for multiple revisions. Thanks for the responses. I like many others jist find rerouting the intestines a bit excessive. But I could do with losing 100 pounds. Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App

  15. Hi guys i m new to this forum and just need some help. Basically I have acid reflux the past 2-3 years when I put on 35 + kg which is around 75 pounds. Before that I never had issues. I do pop every now and then a ppi or ranitidine and then I m good. I m kind of hoping thst with wls and losing all this excess weight the reflux will stop.i m very keen on getting the sleeve but don't know how this reflux will effect it or if I should do a bypass. Anyone with similar experiences? Thanks Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App
