  1. You look awesome. I just had my surgery on Oct 31st. That first week was really rough...I went through being depressed and wondered if I had made the right decision. Physically I have done really well after the surgery. I know this is going to be a long and tough journey. I have lost 21 pounds so far which gives me encouragement. I can only hope that I hang in there as long as you have!
  2. Hi Rusti! I was banded on Oct 31st and have also lost 21 lbs (including pre op diet)! I don't get to do pureed food until my third week which is coming up next Monday and I can't wait! I have not been seeing a lot of new banders so I was glad to see your post.
  3. I am having the same issue. I had my surgery on Oct 31st and I still have constant gas pains. I'm wondering if this is ever going away!
  4. Thanks everyone! I finally started loosing which makes me feel a little better but I am really struggling with the clear liquid diet. I feel like I am starving and feel so weak. I am on day 7 and trying to hang in there. I have a doctors appt on Tuesday and hope to go to full liquids.
  5. Hi! I am new to the site and to lap band. I had my surgery on 10/31 and weighed 217 pounds. I weighed yesterday and had gained 2 pounds, weighed again this morning and have gained another 3 pounds. Is this normal? I am only consuming liquids so I would expect it to drop quick. It's really discouraging because I feel like I am starving.
