  1. i had to start using benefiber. it's helped keeping me "normal"!
  2. I definitely notice a difference between the last 2 images - looks like a size 8 v. a size 6?
  3. Hi! I just had my first fill a few days ago at NWWLS! I'm feeling much better with the fill (had a hard time not eating everything in sight before). How are things since your fill?
  4. I was march 4th and just had my first fill. I must say that banding was the best thing I've ever done and look forward to a wonderful life ahead of me!
  5. Hi all you march bandsters! I just had my first fill a few days ago and am doing so well! No more hunger...and so far I've lost 20 lbs since my surgery on 3/4. How is everyone else doing?
  6. Congrats! I'm from seattle wa but was banded in Everett.
  7. Welcome! So glad you joined!
  8. I only wish they had some better swimsuit selections...I mean - where are the bikinis?!?!?!
  9. ooh my gosh - I am SOOO sorry. I wish I had the money to self-pay for you!!!
  10. I posted this on my blog and another LBT thread and people really seem to like it: a virtual weight loss simulator from Prevention. Just plug in your current weight and your goal weight and you have a mini-you…now and at your ideal weight. Here I am…now and at my ideal weight of 140. Pretty fun!
  11. Not a problem, Tammy! I love the way I'm going to look, as well. Soooo sexy!!!
  12. my weight loss slowed down on mushies - but picked back up on solids. odd - but who can explain our bodies, after all!
  13. i have a 10 cc band and mine too came with 3cc's at surgery and then they added 2cc's at my first fill which was 4 weeks after surgery.
  14. Yes! I posted a link to it on my blog. You can find it here: Virtual Weight Loss Simulator Lise The Loser’s Weblog
  15. i just had my first fill this past monday which was 4 weeks from my surgery. i had 2cc's added to the 3cc's that were already in my 10cc band. i feel fantastic. i think i'm at the sweet spot and hope it lasts a longgg time!
  16. i am glad you made such a fantastic decision, as well! :huh2:
  17. 1 day post op is hard - but every day you will start to feel better. i am 4 weeks post and feel fantastic. but - i remember the first day out...it was not exactly the most pleasant of times. but know that the future looks ooh so bright!
  18. i was the same way 2 weeks out - no restriction and wanting to eat EVERYTHING! only difference is that i had total support from my doc. but - i did eat everything that fell into the stage i was in (liquid, mushy, etc). Now that I'm 4 weeks out and just got my first fill i'm feeling restriction - but had NONE before the fill. until you have your fill, the time is to take care of your band, not to lose weight. :huh2:
  19. i'm so happy for you - congrats!!!!
  20. i think all of us had this feeling on the pre-op. you are not alone at all. until you get the band and your first fill it's no different than the rest of your life which for me, has been a huge struggle. now that i've been filled, i'm full full full with just a few bites. it's pure bliss!
  21. my only concern was something going wrong with the band and the cost to get it fixed...i'm self-pay. but the benefit far outweighs the cost - and i'm only 4 weeks in!
  22. this is not a diet - this is a way of life. you will not fail. i have faith in you.
  23. being nervous is normal. being banded is bliss!
