From one Amanda to another (and their friend) hang in there.

Hi! I just had my first fill a few days ago at NWWLS! I'm feeling much better with the fill (had a hard time not eating everything in sight before). How are things since your fill?

I got my first fill on april 2nd. I found out my doctor put in 3.75 cc during surgrey and not the 3cc in wrote down, So the nurse Jessie put in addition 2cc so total I have 5.75 cc now!! Its great I eat small amounts and totally full. I have lost 5 pounds since my fill on wednesday wow:rolleyes:

so totally now 20 pds all together I'm Happy what about you guys? How much weight loss has everybody lost so far?

Hi, everyone I am very new at this and I am also 5 weeks after surgery today. I want to start eating normal food but am concerned I will gain it all back. I have first fill on 4/24/08 am very nervous!! Does it hurt? Help me stay calm in Kansas!!!

Or at least I feel like I am. I was banded on March 18th and am finding that I can eat almost normally. Yesterday, I had 3 meals, not preband size, but 3 full meals none the less. :crying: I used to have a kolache, two donuts and a dr. pepper for breakfast and today I had a kolache and a protein shake. This has managed to keep me full through lunch, so I just had a banana, but for some reason, I still feel like I'm gorging myself - in my head I'm "eating way too much". Am I? Should I be able to eat this much? Keep in mind I don't get my first fill until May 8th. I just know that I'm going to gain all of my weight back. It's only 17 poinds, but I suffered a lot to lose that weight.:crying:

I can only advise to stick to the post-surgery diet. I am supposed to eat 3 meals (1/4 cup each), and one snack. Both before my fill two weeks ago and after, I could probably eat all day. they say it will take a bit to get to the "green zone " Perfect fil, not hungry and still losing. I have lost a total of 30 but an very frustrated because even after a very traumatic first fill, I feel as if I could eat forever.
