  1. My surgeon is keeping me off work until after the first of the year. 8 weeks total, because of my job. I work in manufacturing and I twist, push, pull, lift and am on my feet 12hrs a day.

  3. I just got sleeved 3 days ago and still suffering from pain. My pulse is still pretty high. I was prescribed liquid Lortab and I'm already almost out. Not sure if I have a really low pain tolerance and I'm being a big baby, or if I think it's bad because it's still sore. the only thing I can say is it's worse, for me, than getting all my wisdom teeth pulled.
  4. Yeah I've been walking my apartment hallway on and off all day. I just feel so useless ><
  5. How long did it take for you to walk around at a normal pace? I'm pretty much slugging along holding my stomach. Still hurts to get up and down off the couch or out of bed. Hope tomorrow is better.
  6. The cookies and cream shake is delicious *-*
  7. How did your surgery go? I'm like 12 hrs post op and can't sleep ><
  8. I'm in my hotel room with my husband and was wondering if there's anything I can do to get comfortable for sleep. I'm normally a side sleeper, and it's super hard to get in and out of the bed. It hurts so bad.
  9. 7 hours post op. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  10. My surgery is tomorrow, Nov 4th and I still have a pending case. It's been nothing but hell the last two weeks, between miscommunication with Bariatric Resource Services and UHC, missing paperwork and dozens of phone calls I still have no answers. BRS said they would have a decision by the end of today, but never heard anything back. Then my surgery center told me they never received medical clearance from my doctor. It's so stressful and I'm on the verge of tears because this should have been figured out WEEKS ago. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  11. Oh nice I have heard great things about him! I was sleeved a week ago at Banner Gateway. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App Thanks, everything is caught up on insurance right now and it's two days before surgery and I'm a little stressed about it but hopefully it goes okay. And Grats!
  12. Yeah, I'm going through WLIA and my surgeon is Dr debarro
  13. Thanks everyone, I found protein water at target that was really reasonably priced.
  14. I was told that I need to have a clear, low carb protein drink. I was going to get the Atkins Lift protein drink but can't find it, or anything else similar. What clear protein drinks did you have?
  15. I'm getting married tomorrow, surgery is on Friday I'm wearing a jacket over my dress so you can't see my arms. I'm a little self conscious but it's mostly from the uneven skin tone I have.
  16. I'm 5-3 and preop cw 261lbs. Sw was 271.
  17. Could they make it any more stressful for us? Haha. I'm a week before surgery and the last thing I wanted to worry about is being approved
  18. Did you get approved? I'm still pending :/
  19. I'm the 4th as well!!,Aww yay!
  20. Nope, all I have left to do is a blood test the day before surgery.
  21. No, but my plan states specifically no fruits or vegetables. I'll post it on here when I get home.
