I went in at 9:45am and had my surgery around 1:30-2pm (surgeon had an issue with the person ahead of me). I was in recovery for about an hour and then I stayed the night and was told I could leave the next day as long as my liquids were staying down. I'm not going to lie, I did think about one more night in the hospital but I knew I would heal much better being home.
