I am on day 7 of my post op diet, my dietitian said I could have Protein shakes, Water , sugar free beverages, I added 1 a day sf fudgesicles, Sfpopsicles, sf pudding cups. I had VSG surgery 1/5/17, my Dr found I was not tolerating narcotics , I threw up with the first dose in the operating room and right after, and every time the nurse put it in my IV. I am doing great now, no nausea. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Wow, my sister had that band, she regained also, she refuses to consider another procedure. And says her band did not failGood Luck, your story makes me accept the $500 co pay that I have, it would have been $250 after 11 Jan because of new insurance options, but I was scheduled and did not want to reschedule. Thank you. My physician only requires liquid diet one day before surgery. They also told me that I shouldn't have any pain. I have been to both places, I like the areas. I wish my surgery date comes quickly, I am only working tue & wed this week, I should have taken off. My surgery is scheduled for 9:30am Thur, I still need to pick up my after surgery meds, I will go early on Thur to do that. My Dr says he does not do leak test since in 500 surgeries only 3 have failed. And I forgot to ask if I will have a drain, in any regard, I am ready. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
