  1. Take it from me... anything more that three shots, you'll be lights out. Trust me.
  2. Do work son. Before: And now:
  3. just a heads up, idk how many of you do drink alcohol pre-op or post-op, but for the love of God, drink in moderation. the night before Thanksgiving, I decided it would be fun to do 7-8 shots of rum. NOT GOOD. when it came time to hurl, im pretty sure the lapband kept the alcohol in my stomach, so i ended up painfully dry heaving for an hour. REALLY SUCKY. so yeah, don't be like me, and stay safe.
  4. ahahahaha, i like to say that I know how that feels. BTW! i have wrist bones!!!!
  5. a) im 18, and i wish i could be 180 it all depends on you bmi, like how tall you are and your weight, and all that shniz shnoz.
  6. lol, what a buzz kill :grouphug:
  7. even though i've lost forty six pounds, and people say that i look amazing, i still feel like i did before surgery. hopefully our brains will stop telling us that we're still gigantic, cuz pretty soon, we wont be.
  8. Hah! That's exactly how it is for me! woo underage drinking! hahaha:lol:
  9. I still party, though, not all the time. you have to be reaaaalll careful. beer will make you feel very uncomfortable because of gas due to the carbonation. hard liquor hits you hard and fast, and you can easily gain weight quick because of empty calories. Guaranteed a good time :smile2: hah
  10. i imagine feeling like something is stuck, even though you didnt eat
  11. fun story i just read what i wrote like months ago and since then, i've been getting so much attention, its a bit ridiculous. still single tho. ladies, hit me up lols
  12. And it feels like I cant do anything right and like I have no motivation. its pretty sucky
  13. what does PB mean? ...still new at this
  14. lol, yeah, i know that feeling.
  15. I think you should tell them though. Cuz even if they dont get it, they'll still support you when the surgery is finished. Like, they fought me almost the whole way, and the day after surgery, they were all chillin with me in my hospital room, which shows that they at least cared...so, hey, do w/e you gotta do.
  16. I told my friends. Bad move on my part. But, whatever. They all thought i was dumb, taking the easy way out. They would attack me with the constant "why dont you eat healthy and go to a gym" but being 300+ pounds, it's really tough to find the motivation for it. Anyway, my friends are super supportive now, and they all understand that it's nowhere close to the easy way out. good luck on your journey!
  17. Man, i love a good medical malpractice suit:drool: but seriously, it sounds like you're living a nightmare.
  18. So I'm a week and a day post-op, and I'm on a pureed food diet for the next 3 days. I have had pureed chicken twice, up to about a cup at a time, and I dont feel satisfied. they say that i should be feeling full around 1/2 cup. idk, anybody expierience this too?
  19. I got banded on the 25th, a week today (15lbs down since the 21st. Woo Me!). Now, when i went to burp in the hospital, I felt nauseated like i was about to puke. Then it would come out as a cough. Totally weird, right?:confused2: anyone else expierience that?
  20. The way things worked out for me, I got my surgery date on valentines day 08. My date was this past monday, the 25th. I then started to do a full liquid diet. It was rough...really rough. I'm a week (almost) post-op, and tomorrow I start a pureed food Diet. Cant wait for some beef...
  21. Y'see, I've been single all my life. It blows. I'm in a band, all 3 mates, except me, have no probs with getting girls. *and i play the drums...this shouldnt be happening!* I'm pretty sure once i start losing weight, things will be easier. I got prom to look forward too so yeah, that's my input.
  22. I think you might be moving a little to fast... You should probably go to seminars and group classes and what not.
  23. Thanks for writing a post about me mom  hah, just kidding!
