  2. Yes me! I had my surgery 10/5 and I'm 17 days post op. The constricting feeling or "contractions" get better. Drink slower and a smaller amount and it helps. Don't drink anything thick, because you're still healing and it will make the constricting feeling hurt you for more than 5 secs. Mine (sleeve) would start doing that when I was "hungry" or sometimes randomly after I drink. The feeling would wake me up at 5:30-6 in the mornings so I would drink half an iced Premier Protein and go back to sleep. Once you hit 10 days post OP you'll notice it'll come once a day or every other day. Just stick to your liquids until you heal. Today I got my first headache since surgery & it's because I didn't finish all of my Water yesterday. Create a good habit and stay on top of your liquids. I'm learning a day at a time. Goooood luck to you!! :-) <3 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm 11 days post op and I can't taste salt in many broths, I fear I may never be able to taste seasoned foods again... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. I didn't take my Prevacid today after reading your reply LOL...I will tomorrow but will call my dr office for a RX. Is the omeprozale helping you? Does it minimize some of the chest pain? Tonight was really for me to be around food while feeding my toddler. I couldn't even watch her chew because my mouth was watering. My period started 3 days post op and I have 2 days left. This is gonna be a toughie! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I've been taking Prevacid daily since being discharged but the cramping is nagging. Even when I'm not drinking and between meals it attacks me and then leaves within 2-3 seconds. I will ask my Dr about Omeprozale! Sometimes I get lucky and my warm chicken broth soothes my aching sleeve Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Milk of magnesia. It works within a few hours and it was the hardest BM I ever had. I wish I had taken another 1/2 dose to help things along because my butt was bleeding Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Me on the 5th, how are you feeling? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I'm 6 days Post Op and have some discomfort and "cramping" when my shakes and broth go down, BM today (6 days out)....anyone else feeling this??? It gets pretty harsh sometimes. I feel like my liquids used to go down smoother without problems when I first got discharged. I couldn't sleep last night. The grumbling & cramping did not let up and I was supposed to go back to work today. Feedback please?! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
