Had a band in 2004, had band removed in 2008 (4 years), had a sleeve in 2008 to date.
Lost all my weight, very happy.
I have a long and complicated story I will not boar you with lol.
My wife had a band and revised to a gastric bypass in 2007, she is very happy at 138 pounds.
My son went straight to a sleeve in 2007, he is now happy at 198 pounds.
