  7. Hi, im back in Canada and I am not sure when I go to the dr to get my drain and stitches taken out. Also, how long does the drain drain, my drain is now starting to drain a light pink Fluid, i think it might be bleeding, but there is no clots, just a pink fluid, i haven't drank anything pink. My wounds are healing nice, very little redness. I was sleeved 1st of Oct Any insight please Sent from my SM-N920W8 using the BariatricPal App

  14. When I get to that stage, im going to cook like a professional chef, small portions of deliciousness. I'm going to make it count, no freezer stuff for me, im going to get fancy. I'm going to use delicate plates, huge tastes, small portions. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using the BariatricPal App
  15. I was sleeved Oct 1st, im down 30lbs since I started the journey sept 7th. Prior to the surgery, i NEVER EVER looked in the mirror to see how I looked, i would avoid the mirror at all costs. Today I was standing looking in the mirror and started to feel disgust and overwhelming hate, i just got out of the shower, wearing smaller clothing, and my hair done, just trying to look presentable. Before, i would make sure I was clean and not look in the long mirror, i wouldn't look up in the bathroom mirror, all to avoid. My epiphany is that to avoid this feeling, maybe I should have been looking in the mirror everyday for the same amount of time I was dieting preop, so I could see changes when the time came, because now, all I see is fat and not progress...but now that I know, I can change my thinking and focus on the good. Any thoughts Sent from my SM-N920W8 using the BariatricPal App

  17. I feel like I was going to die without it, from obesity and despair. I am not depressed or have mental illness, but the weight I was carrying, im only a week out and 30lbs down, was really not good for me in any way, shape or form, my spirit is getting stronger than its been in years. So I believe this is saving my life, not taking away from it Sent from my SM-N920W8 using the BariatricPal App

  27. Hi, i am one week out today, Oct 1st, and I have been home since Wednesday, i haven't taken the prescribed pain meds and I am wondering how long everyone else was on them? I feel discomfort and a deep sore in my abdomen, but over all I'm fine, my stitches are heading nicely as well. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using the BariatricPal App
