Craving pickles?
Perhaps sip some of the picks juice to satisfy your craving without actually eating the pickle? Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

Nausea?
My nausea went away once I got to stage 4 and could eat somewhat solid foods. Once I had real food in my belly, the nausea stopped! Hope it eases up for you soon. Feeling sick all the time is the worst! Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

Problems 3 weeks out! Forever?
I found it easier to drink the orange flavored power aide zero than water And I was extremely nauseous until I could start to eat soft/ some what solid foods. I also had that nasty gritty coating/feeling in my mouth, but once I started eating real food, I found it went away. Nothing tasted good to me anymore either and once I ate something once, I didn't want it again. It's hard to realize I don't get enjoyment from the way food tastes anymore, but I'm kind of glad, because then I think I would continue to overeat like before I had surgery. Always try to plan ahead and have emergency Snacks or Protein shakes on hand. My go to is string cheese! Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

4 days post op and confused
Oh and if it makes you feel better, when I was 4 days out I cried because someone posted a picture of nachos on Facebook. Lol Our bodies are adjusting to a drastic change so I imagine it will take some time for our brains to catch up! Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

4 days post op and confused
You're not alone. I'm 5 weeks post op and had the exact same feelings! I didn't realize how mentally challenging this process was going to be. I knew I was an emotional eater, but I didn't realize how much I associated comfort with taking a big bite of food. It's starting to get easier now that I can eat real food again. I just keep thinking how in a couple of months we'll be saying "it was the best decision I ever made" like so many other sleevers! Hang in there, it does get better! Gurgle and burp after every sip
Thank you. It makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one with these symptoms. It's just difficult because I've always loved drinking Water, and now it's so challenging. Thank you for your response! Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

Gurgle and burp after every sip
So I had my sleeve done on November 2nd, and I'm having a really hard time drinking anything because every sip I take my stomach gurgles and I have to burp after which also adds to my nausea. (Nausea meds aren't helping) Anyone else have this problem? Also, taking my chewable Vitamins makes me super sick to my stomach. Luckily I haven't vomited, but I'm not getting enough liquids and Protein in. Is this normal? Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App

Favorite Protein Shakes?
I'm trying to get ready for my pre-op diet as I just got my surgery date for Nov. 2nd and I'm trying to find a decent Protein shake that is affordable. What are your favorites? I tried a sample of the pre-made chocolate Premier Protein and liked that, but can't find it anywhere near me. Any good places to purchase online? Thanks in advance for any help/advice!
